This light has turned out even better than I expected it to.First up, it is solid. It has a metal casing, and has weight to it. It feels substantial, and of quality construction.The "clamp" mechanism is a weighted hinge with rubber pads that grips behind the monitor, and is very well balanced. I'm using it with a fairly old, 5cm thick Samsung 24" LCD, and it fits perfectly. I also tried it with a modern 8mm thick HP screen, and it fits that perfectly too. It's very easy to take on and off. You can adjust the light so that the LEDs aren't shining in your face, and it will still illuminate your desk area.Power comes from a supplied USB-C to USB-A cable. You could obviously use your own USB-C to USB-C cable if you needed it. If you had a monitor with USB ports, it would be ideal to run it off that, but I'm running if off my laptop beside the monitor.The two buttons have small, faint LEDs in them that light even when it's turned off. These wouldn't disturb anyone in a dark room, and are just enough to show you where the touch buttons are in the dark.The On/Off button does what it says on the tin. The other button cycles though three temperature levels. I find the warm level best for me. Touching and holding this button also dims or brightens the lights.The quality of the light cast, and the area it illuminates, it excellent. There's a great spread on the light on my desk, and no harsh edges or shadows. It doesn't cast any glare on the screen. You will see dust on the screen, and I have a scratch on mine that is more apparent now under this light, but it doesn't have a negative effect on colours or contrast at all.I'm using it in a room where I'm set up right beside a window, but it's overcast most of the time, so even during the day, the light brightens my desk. The ceiling light in the room is in front of me, so my monitor and laptop screen shade my keyboard area. This light has made all the difference in making my desk more comfortable to work at.

I don’t want to over egg this but I love this light. I have a couple of monitors set up on my working from home office which take up too much space on my desk to get a a lamp in a good position. I needed a lamp as the nights have drawn in and needing a focus light to see my desk and keyboard. So without totally rearranging my desk and losing work space I felt stuck. I know Ben-Q who make my monitor do a similar light but that costs £130!!! So when I saw this I had to try it and it it really works brilliantly. It plugs into a USB port which is free on my desk, and the wire is hidden down behind my screen and out the way.The light it throws on my desk means I have a clear and unshaded view of my keyboard and notes and it’s taken up no space on my desk as sits almost invisibly on top of the screen. I use it in cool light as it keeps things bright and clear, but you can turn the colour to warm white and the. Dim up and down to your liking.Only negative I can say is when I power my screen off I can see just how dusty it is lol. Really pleased with this and would recommend.

The build quality is very good, nice matte aluminium. The one major drawback is the capacitive touch buttons are too sensitive or there is a major bug where it is resetting itself. Sometimes the colour temperature changes suddenly without any input (unless there's a ghost in the room messing with me). This can be a bit awkward if you are using it to light your face during a meeting and it changes colour. I do love that you can actually tilt it toward your face for Zoom/Teams meetings unlike other models... The USB-C cable sticks out the back and this reduces the angle you set it at. It's possible to replace the cable to make the angle better but that is an extra cost. You can also sit a webcam on top of it (flat surface) but I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to be adjusting the angle. Overall I'm very happy with the light, I just wish it didn't randomly change colour/temperature by itself.

The first one I received kept switching off after a few minutes, have tried plugged into two different hubs and directly to computer. Worked better plugged into mains, but still occasionally turning off.I reached out to the vendor who have sent me a replacement.

this would be a great product. its bright as hell, very convenient as it sits above any monitorbut there are a number of issues.- Firstly. THIS THING TURNS OFF EVERY 5 MINS, UNPROMPTED! utterly terrible and i do hate to be harsh but man its infuriating when you are mid-task.- Secondly. Sometimes the touch buttons don't bloody work. its extremely fun when you're mid task, the light switches off and you literally can't turn it back on no matter how many times you tap the button.so as i said. it couldve been great. alas, this company have failed its customers including myself. wasted my money here I'm afraid :(

Great light. Makes it much better playing games on my computer without the main light on.The only draw backs are they it seems not to remember any settings. It comes on with full brightness every time. The touch buttons aren’t very responsive. Frequently I’m touching the on/off button five or six times before the light comes on. Slightly annoying.

I purchased this version initially due to my monitor being a tad old, so the thickness of the upper bezel was closer to 4.5cm.Having purchased others previously which did not even list the supported monitor thickness and needing to return, I'm happy that this design fits well.I'd say it'll happily fit a monitor thickness of 6cm.The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star, is due to the lighting cannot be dimmed, you're able to switch between 3 modes that differ in warmth, but the brightness cannot be configured.

Wow, was so surprised with the build quality of this. Mostly metal construction. Feels very high quality.The light itself make such a difference to my desk, wish i had got one a long time ago.Changing the light colour and brightness is very easy and its very sturdy and stable on my monitor.Good quality USB A to C cable included and super quality packaging.Really impressed.
