Excellent squirrel foil-ers on shepherd’s hooks or feeder poles
If you have round shepherd’s hooks or bird feeder poles and want to keep squirrels off of them, use these. They’re elevators back down to ground level and they’re fun to watch! I secured mine at the top with duct tape. I slid some over the curve of the hook on two, then coiled them manually around others that have decorative stuff welded to the top. Make sure you secure them to the top or the squirrel’s weight may take them down. They’re holding up to rain and snow and haven’t lost their bounce after a month. Effective!

Used as a fidget
For the most part, the mini slinkies hold up well. If they are held in the hand or just left alone. Playing with them as fidgits takes some extra care. (elementary students)
