Great product for high-temp applications
I used this high-temp sealant for the installation of vent pipe for a pellet stove. It handled well, consistency made it easy to apply...not too thick or too thin. There was enough in the tube to use on 4 joints in the 4" vent pipe I installed. When the project was completed and the sealant had cured overnight, I started the stove and had no leaks in the vent, so I assume the product worked as expected!

Good
I needed it for an applicance like an oven, and it seems to be holding up just fine, as it should. it is holding a piece of glass, and so far so good!

Does the trick
While you're going to spend more $ for less product, it's convenient because you *don't* need a caulking gun and the tube comes with a screw on cap so you can save the product for later. It's also more convenient for being able to dispense smaller amounts with a little more finesse. TIPS: mix the product - work the tube (squeeze it back and forth) *before* you cut the tip off the tube for dispensing. Cut off smaller pieces off of the tip if you want to dispense into smaller spaces or more delicate lines - you can always cut off more if you want more flow, but you can't put it back once it's been removed.

This stuff is the bomb!
So, I'm kind of unorthodox and lazy with how I build and repair things and this silicone sealant is perfect for me. I mainly use this on my 3D Printer, so the high temp resistance comes in handy at times. If a part breaks, I just stick it back on with this stuff and it holds better than it did originally. But, it's super easy to remove if necessary. And, it's more low profile than mounts with screws, nuts, etc., so it gives the overall silhouette of whatever I'm building or repairing a neater and cleaner look. I'll be buying this Rutland 500° Silicone Sealant from now on.

Used to Seal Seams on a Pellet Smoker
I used this to seal the interior seams on on my Green Mountain Grill pellet smoker. I was getting grease dripping on the ground when I used high heat mode for doing reverse searing since grease tends to splatter on to the walls run down underneath the drip tray. So I completely cleaned the interior with Simple Green BBQ Cleaner (another excellent product, btw). Then I used this to seal the lower seams & corners. It went on just like regular silicone sealer and was easy enough to work with in tight spaces. The fumes weren't too bad either. They were completely gone in a few days. I ran the smoker for an hour just to make sure there wouldn't be any residual odor. I've had zero issues when cooking on it ever since.

Worth it!
It works! My stove grill rubber came loose and wife was getting annoyed reaching for them while cleaning. This product helped glueing the rubber to the metal grill.

Good replacement for rubber feet on range grate
Several of the small rubber feet on the grates for our gas range fell out and disappeared. It was difficult to find the correct replacement and any available seemed to be unreasonably expensive. This heat resistant silicone seal provided a great solution. I simply squeezed some silicone into the empty holes in the grate and then brought them up to the correct level. It was also easy to add more later or clip off any extra.

Would recommend this RTV
The product seams to be holding up quite well. It melted right at the first elbow out of the stove , but that is the hottest point and to be expected. The rest is solid and working good after about two weeks in service.Great product. Fast shipping. Did not see this product in any stores in the Edmonton area so amazon is the place to market/buy products that I would otherwise not have access to. What would we do without the internet!ThanksAl

Used for 3d Printer Hotends Sock
Hotend socks are rated only for about 300c so i got this instead.. used a brush and painted a layer on teh hotend.. its rated for 500c so should work better and its more for keeping the end clean than for a thermal insulation so i did it thin.. (it also holds in my thermistor so all good.. seems to work better than expected perhaps ill make a mold for the silicone and make my own socks for it)
