Love 'N Bake Hazelnut Praline, All Natural, 11 Ounce Can

Product is excellent for my purpose and I will buy it again when I need it. It does separate which is natural. Also it must be refrigerated after opening. I bought it for making chocolates with a hazelnut filling, but the goal was to get a flavor similar to nutella. A nutella filling is overwhelmed by the chocolate shell, so I needed something with only a hazelnut flavor. This worked quite well as a filling. I just need to adjust the proportions. I also made some chocolates samples by adding Frangelico liqueur to the praline. Those were really good. the Frangelico smoothed out the praline paste, so it has a great flavor and texture.

This is a very smooth hazelnut and sugar paste and is very sweet on its own. It's a little like the hazelnut version of marzipan, but with a creamy rather than putty-like consistency. I used this in my favorite almond cake recipe and swapped out the marzipan for the hazelnut praline, and the cake was extraordinarily delicious, fragrant with hazelnuts and pound-cake like in texture.I plan to order more and use it to make hazelnut croissants. Yes, it is expensive, but I so intensely hate peeling hazelnuts that buying this pre-made praline is worth the expense to me.

The praline is good and tastes as good as any other praline I have had, except it is a little too sweet and may be the price point is a little high. But with prime shipping available I am not going to complain too much

I'm a devoted hazelnut lover. This stuff is basically the hazelnut analog of sweetened natural roasted creamy peanut butter. It does require a lot of stirring because the oil separates out from the solids. It's so good that you might just dig in with a spoon and eat it right out of the can, which is exactly what I did when I first tried it. Add some cocoa powder and vanilla extract and a tiny dash of salt to it, and you've got instant Nutella. It's also a great addition to chocolate ganache.

I ordered this because I love hazelnuts and especially hazelnut paste. I make my own truffles and am used to using the highest quality ingredients. Unfortunately, this product is way too sweet and not nearly as good as a gourmet quality hazelnut butter. So save your money and just buy hazelnut butter, and you'll be able to control the sugar content and even get an organic product.disappointing!

Not what I was looking for in a recipe.

I loved this stuff, but both containers were so dinted I worried about opening them. Even considered returning but curiosity won over and I did not regret trying this stuff - sooooo delicious! I am not happy with the packaging though.

This reminds me of the delicious hazelnut praline chocolates I had in Belgium & France - so yummy & decadent! You can use this for cake frostings, chocolates, cookies, etc. It takes some effort to mix the oils together with the paste in the tin before use, but it's worth it - so worth the money!
