The seeds bloomed. The flowers are pretty and lovely just as you imagine what California poppy should look like. I learned that wild flowers don't like transplanting. When I tried to transplant from the ground to the pots, I didn't succeed. All failed. Next time, when I want to share California poppy with others, I will scatter the seeds on the dirt in the pot and place them on the ground. Thank you so much for the product! Also, one friend of mine from Japan was impressed by the plants when they were before blooming, and she took a trip down to southern California to see the super bloom. She and her husband enjoyed the trip. I'm glad I had this opportunity this year so they could have a great vacation.

I am in California — can't wait to plant them! This weekend! They grow like wildfire here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Conditions were perfect this spring for CA poppies, consistent moisture and good soil. I planted them according to the instructions. Nothing. Not one plant or flower. I’ve planted and grown them in the past at previous homes — they are not hard to grow. So I am very disappointed in these seeds.

I am certain the CA drought is partially to blame but these sadly didn't sprout. I have California poppies all over one hill from some I planted a few years ago and I wanted them all over another hill.Sadly these never sprouted. I suspect lack of water (though the others have come up this year), and perhaps turkeys chowing down on the extra treat (though the others have made it) or maybe I just wasn't timely enough with application (rain too late/too early).I plan to try again.

The media could not be loaded.  I raked them In and it’s been almost 3 years and they still bloom beautifully. Full sun is mostly favored but can grow in partial shade
