Bedford Clock CollectionContemporary Round Wall Clock with Pendulum

We were looking for a clock that was battery operated since it was going to be placed over a corner TV and we wouldn't be able to actually wind it on a weekly basis. For the sale price, this was a fair $ purchase. The clock is fairly well made. It is not 100 percent wood, but it looks very nice. We enjoy the sound of the chime, that you can silence it at night, and you can adjust the volume. It does make a ticking sound with the swing of the pendulum, so if that's something that bothers you, you would possibly have to remove the pendulum. I don't know of any way of stopping it from swinging unless you can remove that individual battery. There are two separate sets of AA batteries, I believe it takes 3, so one may just work the pendulum option, or it may work the clock and pendulum together. I would purchase this again for the sale price.

I got this for the nautical look in my livingroom on a side wall by the tv.I was afraid it might be highlighted in red as some of the pictures have shown but no problem at all.It's actually a very dark color with medium brown highlights and looks great.I did have a problem with the pendulum too. They must have a standard size pendulum for all their smaller clocksbut this one is probably a bit shorter than the others. I found when it cleared the side holes so it didn't knock on the wood, the pendulum dragged on the bottom of the case. I had to make some minor adjustments but once I got that straightened out it's perfect now.*** At this point I have purchased several clocks from this manufacturer and the only complaint (other than the above) I would suggest solving is the metal bracket that holds the clocks up have a slightly too small hole. I've had a more difficult time than is necessary fitting them over the screw head in the wall anchor. Otherwise I am very pleased with them.

Very pretty, would not recommend. The battery box for the chime has a screw in crooked and it blocks from being able to put the batteries in to use the chime. And even though I had read the other reviews, Id hoped that the knocking of the pendulum on the sides of the clock was an exception to the rule, but no, it knocks and its not a barely there kind of knock either, its a solid knock. Im giving it the 2 stars because as a clock with out a working chime or pendulum its still a pretty clock. And I didnt try to return because I saw how pretty it was and threw out the box days before I got it hung and found the faults.

My wife loves this little clock that we recently purchased. Happy wife, happy life.

I am very unsatisfied with this purchase. There was no paperwork that came with it. It doesn’t chime properly. I am very disappointed. Turns out, it’s made in China.

It is a beautiful o'clock however the pendulum will not center and it hits the sides of the clock and makes a knocking noise. I have tried everything possible and it is even level. I have had to stop the pendulum from swinging which I am very disappointed about
