Men's Fresh Foam 860v11

There seems to be some kind of defect in the heel inside the fabric. It's plastic and it splits causing the shoe to be loose on your foot. I bought this pair thinking I must have done something to my first pair. I was extra careful putting on and taking off this new pair but the heel "cup" still broke. And I only wore this pair for my daily walks (no more than 5 miles in total and not every day). These are good shoes for those of us who need the stability support, I just wish they would have lasted more than a month. I would have to say look out for pairs with this heel design.

A customer suggested these to me. I'd been wearing the Newbalance 680 version and was LOVING them, challengingmyself in Decemberto walk no less than 10 miles a day and did so with minimal issues. I paid about $80 for them here on Amazon.However the 860's were very tight on my feet. Especially in the toes and laces area. Even loosening them did little. After a month of wearing them, walking and running, at work, averaging 15K+ steps a day I ordered my 680's again.Not always does more cash spent = better quality. Just my experience.

I am 6'2" and weigh 290lbs. I have wide width feet as well. The shoes fit and look great. Also there really isn't a break in period for these shoes that I have noticed. I wore them on a 3 mile run out of the box and my feet felt fine. I wear them for all my workouts and runs and they just get better over time. I will be buying another pair.

I have used New Balance 860s since version 4. I liked the stability, cushioning, feel, roomy toe box.The Fresh Foam version 11 is a terrible change. The fit is the same but the feel is not. It's stiff, not at all springy, feels like I am moving with wooden blocks tied to my feet. I just got an old v. 10 to wear until I find a new shoe.

I’ve been buying NB 860 for years; they changed their style a bit on this last pair I just bought; they did another fantastic job on this new style; they’re so comfortable and so supportive; I’m hooked; I have two pairs, one for the gym and one for every day, and I still have a few older ones for around the yard.

Fit is perfect

I don't actually run in these because of arthritis, but I wear them all the time and take nice long walks. They are very comfortable and feel great for walks and every-day wear. No complaints from me, and I especially love the soft and stretchy heal so it never cuts into my Achilles.

It is indeed cool - featuring some of the best ventilation I've ever felt on a shoe. It has good cushioning without sacrificing firmness for toe-off, and has held up under my very moderate regimen (currently 2-4 miles, 3-4 times per week). I am a mild overpronator, and I got the shoe to help with that problem. It seems to work, as the soreness in my ankles (present with less structured shoes) is nearly gone. I'm working my way up the pyramid, so can update this post based on higher mileage at a later date. The only complaint was that I got mine in a "wide" width, which was a perfect fit at the ball of my foot, but as a result, the toe box was a bit bigger than I would have preferred. Still, it's not a deal-breaker. Very good shoe overall, would recommend it.

Good fit for a wider foot.

Great stability shoes. Personally felt better then ASICS kayano series. Cushioning is just perfect (not over cushioned). Was able to find my regular pace just on first run itself.

Good pair, using them after my Asics Kayano. Fits well and so far has been very comfortable.Completed abt 200 kms so far, no issues.Bought the blue one, was slightly skeptical abt the colour, but it's not as gaudy as it looks on Amazon.

Shoes are just okay not so premium. Though really comfortable. Also width of this shoes is quite narrow so if you have wider feet these aren't for u.
