So is the side 1/4" and the top 5/16" so that it will connect to a 1/4" valve and you can use either a 1/4" or 5/16" hose?

We use them for hooking up diacon units, 5/16 end hooks up to unit and 1/4 end to gauges and use side 1/4 to hook up your vacuum pump or mic. Gauge these are great valves

Will this work on a fujitsu mini split?

I have been told it works on all mini splits. have used mine on 2 different brands but fujitsu.

The side port of a 5/16" stem remover is 1/4"; at least the Appion stem remover I repurchased in the USA.

Can these be used with any refrigerant or only 410a?

It works fine for R22 and 410A. That is the only refrigerant that normally deal with
