This is my second purchase of bicycle flag & pole. My first purchase was another brand and was $1.50 more. The other brand has shorter, clear plastic connectors. One broke the first time the bike leaned over where the flag caught on a table. I am hopeful that these longer ones are also more durable. At first, I didn't like the idea of the connectors being red instead of clear or white. Now that it's on, I prefer it because it adds to the visibility, which is the whole point of the flag. The handlebar flag poles don't feel very strong and I don't expect them to last forever. For now though, they are on & holding tight and my daughter thinks they're super-fun! I have to admit that I didn't care for them when buying, but now that they're on she looks like a little presidential motorcade with her 3 flags. I appreciate that the flags have a spring because when I was a kid I ended up flying over the handlebars more than once. Fingers crossed that my daughter never has to know that feeling, but I appreciate that she won't be impaled by the flagpole if she does. On that note, I think the potential for the plastic to break probably adds a level of safety should the worst happen. I'd much rather the pole breaks off the bar if my kid flys into it. rectangle flags are smaller than the rectangle flags on my previous set, but they're intended for the handlebar poles. As another reviewer mentioned, the orange flac comes rolled so it wants to stay rolled. My fix for this was to roll it opposite and rubberband for a while. A few goes of this & the curl should resolve. All in all, I'm totally blown away by what we got for the price. Last thought on this product another reviewer mentioned that screws fell out of the box when they opened it and it was lost in the grass. These come in a thin long box and both of mine came in with open ends. One of the screws and nuts had come loose from the handlebar pole, and if I wasn't inside or on porch it would have been lost like the other reviewer's. Rather than taking stars off for this, I am acknowledging that putting screws in packets, taping or sealing boxes, etc, all takes labor and materials. I'm quite amazed that the price I paid can cover the cost of what I received. I'm not going to complain about the packaging being as minimal as possible. So keep in mind to check your shipping bag or box for loose screws, and open the kit indoors, preferably at a table or on the floor.

The material used for the flag is so stiff that even a pretty strong wind doesn’t really move it. The whole point of the flag was to see which way the wind was blowing

Curiosity got me. Only took a few minutes to figure it all out but I am a seasoned repair person. Introduction for the less mechanical incline would help there. I put in my electric scooter with a little model of the provided bracket. Makes me visible witch was the purpose. Bicycle installation looks very simple. 👍

Got it for my dad's scooter. Hight is adjustable.

Attached it to a small utility trailer to make it more visible. On my first trip the top segment with the flag came off as I was driving at 45 mph. I guess I shouldn’t have trusted the joints where the segments connect together. If you buy one, I suggest you glue the segments together.

Cheap.. but cost is low so.. the biggest issue is that the small screws and bolts for the small handlebar flags were loose in the box and fell into the grass when I opened it. Lost forever.

Ordered for my grandsons go cart. He loves all three flags.
