Does not work
I've used lighter fluid and rubbing alcohol and can not get a flame. It makes a good spark but that's about it.

Very cool item but you need lighter fluid or some very flammable material at hand

This thing stinks
It just doesn’t work as it should. Had it been more expensive I would return it. But I have to drive 30 plus miles to UPS. not happy

striking is a bit awkward, and I'm not sure about the seal on the upper portion
This unit has good heft and fits together well. Filling for the first time through the bottom cap left fluid on my hand that was holding it at the "match" side, but I'm not sure whether that's spillage or leakage through the seal in the seal that's on top when it's upright. Also, the spark doesn't ignite the match if it's run "downward" over the ferro rod, and it feels awkward/dangerous to stroke it "upward" toward the open end of the fuel canister. Once you figure it out it seems to work very well, though.
