Having read reviews from others who have ordered this and not been happy with the delivery. I decided to order one as a Christmas present and thought it it came damaged, smashed I would let Amazon know. It has just arrived in a thick large bag, no damage or any problem. Maybe they've upped the delivery but mine was fine. Thought I'd let others know if they were in doubts as to whether to order this item. Really pleased with it and a lovely Christmas present for some friends.

Great gift
When someone has everything and you don't know what to buy them, this is perfect. My father-in-law was delighted with his one at Christmas. Got another for my mum's birthday, she asked me to get her another as she loves the fruit cake. Really pleased with this purchase. Was bigger than I thought it would be!

Large Boxed Gift
This was a little gift that turned out Large and Lovely! Very well received and we hear the brandy cake was scrumptious. It is definitely worth ordering again :)

I purchased this for a friend. It was packed very well and looked very presentable. Overall, very pleased with this product and could think of purchasing this again on another occasion.

Don't buy, cake and biscuits months out of date
It would not allow to post a 'No Star' review.This was delivered on 16th Feb 24. The cake was dated Best Before March 2023, the biscuits Best Before Sept 2023, the tea bags Best Before March 2024 and the Jam Best Before Apr 2024.Although the cost was refunded, it was ordered to be taken to family the following day as an easter gift. Given how many items of the product were out of date I was incredulous my request for a goodwill gesture was point blankly refused.

Damaged box looked tatty
Bought as a Christmas gift for my Mum, even though the products were of good quality the box was very tatty & looked like it had been kicked round the Amazon factory. For the money I paid it was disappointing but my mum looked past that as she enjoyed the products in the set
