Wired it to a cigarette lighter plug and mounted it to the cieling. I just plug it in when we want to use it. Works great. Is a little loud when the dvd player is being used. Wired the Audio to an aux cord and just plug this in for sound. The FM transmitter was too quiet.

The DVD player worked for maybe 20min. After that, it wouldn’t play DVD’s (it just sits there ‘thinking’). When it did play the DVD spins very loudly, dvd whine is noticeable. On ours the DVD's also were very difficult to eject -- in fact, it pretty much stopped ejecting them at all. I had to resort to holding down the eject button for several minutes, during the time the unit would try again and again to eject, but only successful after several minutes. Waaaaaaay too many issues, this one is getting returned..

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The picture, sound, and ease of use are all outstanding. I bought this to replace a factory installed unit and found I could swap them out myself relatively quickly. Very easy to install, and so far it seems to work great.Would have given it 5 stars, but a line of pixels towards the top of the screen is broken. It leaves a white line across everything we view. Still satisfied with the unit though. I had previously tried a cheaper unit from another company and had tons of problems simply getting dvds to play. I'll gladly put up with a slim line in the picture if everything else works great!

Had installed by a local dealer on the roof of a 2015 Ram 1500 full cab. Must have for the kids. Great picture quality and value for cost.

Had installed professionally by car toys and they hard wired into aux line. Highly recommend picture and quality

I give this product 3 stars because it’s loud when the dvd is spinning and the fm transmitter some times has static. Overall it’s a good DVD player

Biggest pain in the ass ever. First unit was defective out of box. Second unit came and the video works properly but there’s no clear way to transmit sound and the user’s manual is the most useless piece of documentation I’ve ever experienced. Don’t waste your time.

In many ways I love this system! In one massive way I find it annoying, the sound streams through the radio and where the radio cuts out because of varying reasons you have to search for the frequency and at times I have not had any frequency. Not ideal. But the picture is fantastic and the sound is awesome (when available).
