I got two adult rescue cats, and after a while one cat started to demolish his food then bully the other cat to then eat his food too. After reading many reviews for different types of these slow eaters, I went for this one. It’s got some weight so very unlikely to be tipped over (but not too heavy) or pushed around. The size isn’t a massive dinner plate like some of them, it’s just right. You can spread the food in as many or less compartments as you feel necessary for the time required for your cat to eat. The variety of spacing gives you options and they aren’t so small that you’ll frustrate your cat. I’ve had this over a month now and it works perfectly! Cat has no problems using it, and it takes him between 4-6 min to finish it all. Which means my other cat (with regular bowl) finishes in peace in about 3 minutes or so at a normal pace.

My cat adores her food. So much so she kept eating it at lightening speed and then throwing it up within a few minutes.This bowl has been a game changer! It now takes her over 10 minutes to eat a pouch of wet food compared to 3 minutes in a normal bowl.I’m so impressed!!

I love this bowl. Heavy enough to stay in place, shallow enough to let my cat eat from it comfortably, but deep enough to prevent him from gobbling up food

It’s bigger than you might expect from the pictures but not so deep that a mouth can’t get between the ridges. Slows a food motivated cat down nicely!

The media could not be loaded.  I have two kitten's one who sits relaxed and chews every piece of meat and the other who stands over her food almost guarding it. He gulps his food down within a minute or two. Before the dish arrived l had already had added dry food into his wet meat which made a slight difference however now he is eating from the slow dish it has made a huge difference.He still has dry food mixed in however now takes him over 5mins to eat it, twice he has actually left a tiny bit. Before his bowl was licked cleaned. It's actually amusing watching him run around the bowl trying to get in every nook and cranie.They both had plastic bowls previously however after reading up how plastic can irrate there chins etc l decided to get them both ceramic instead.My other kitten has a raised ceramic bowl so no more head bowing for him and hopefully in time l can switch the other also.The plate itself is quite heavy, they cannot move them when eating. I leave them to soak in washing up liquid so very easy to clean.Very securely package and arrived on time.Happy customer and kitten's.

Only 4 stars as I ordered a black dish and received a white one. I'm sure the cat doesn't care. Talking if which, it is rather large for a cat dish. Well made though. Our cat couldn't be bothered with the faff sadly, and just tipped it over so he could scoff his biscuits....
