Cole-TACAmmo Novel (Multicam)

I purchased this ammo book for PRS matches and to look cool while at matches because that's what is really important.I'll be taking this up to Cascade Wisconsin for Border Wars this weekend, so I'll certainly report back on how it holds up to the extreme abuse of walking from stage to stage.Build quality is awesome and it's certainly a little easier to pack than my old ammo boxes, which is what drew me to the ammo novel. I have 100 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor in it at the moment, but obviously it holds any SA calibers very well.The only reason for the 4 stars is because of price. Obviously this is a one-time purchase scenario, however I think the price is a bit steep. That being said, Cole-Tac always releases great products so I'm sure this will last the test of time.7/1 - Post Match update: It was hot as all hell up in Cascade, WI for the BW match. This ammo novel definitely worked really well. It is pretty compact compared to a large plastic 100 round ammo box, so I dig that. I did realize in application that it would be smart to bring a bag or a dump pouch to toss shot brass into. Putting it back in the novel is kind of a pain, but I made it work for the match. Ammo stayed nice and cool throughout the match, only time ammo got hot was the cartridges left in my black tikka magazines in between stages. I'd definitely recommend it.

I bought this for PRS competitions and it’s way better than carrying boxes of factory ammo or when I handload carrying something like the MTM ammo boxes. My only problem is that every loop isn’t usable. There are five or six that are just too tight to get rounds into. They probably weren’t meant to as they’re right on the edges but for the cost I think it should be perfect.

Excellent build quality and super fast shipping , needed a better way to organize my ammo for prs style matches in my pack .It fits better than stacked ammo plastics boxes and does not break ! Does exactly what it supposed to do but for this price it needs a carry handle and something to keep the sides covered to keep out high wind dust.

Large cal. bullets bullets barley fit into the elastic sleeves, and there is not enough space between the rows of sleeves for large / long bullets. I'm returning it to the seller, problem there is they DON'T pay for return shipping. Disappointed

This ammo holder is fantastic. It’s constructed very well, holding my 6.5 CR very secure.
