We wrap peanut butter all over it and the dog will take forever to complete it so it kind of keeps the dog engaged while he tries to have fun alongside.It's heaviness is something that is I should definitely rate high.And because of the bristles cleaning could be sometimes tiresome.

I got this lick mat/slow feeder to try to make my dogs more conscientious eaters. They have slowed down to get their kibble out of the little areas. I find that my dogs, being tiny little chihuahuas, don't really chew on toys. I have walked around the corner to find that they were finished with their food and trying out the mat to see if it was edible. It really made me wish it were smaller so they could have a chew toy they liked, or maybe they were trying to tell me to feed them more. Either way it is a thumbs up. The mat doesn't slide around and keeps them entertained for a while during meal time.

I don't know if I got this more for my cat or for me! My kitty is always trying to bury his face in his food and I wanted to see if this would slow him down. It did! He went from barely breathing as he would dive into his previous foot dish to now where this is more like a game to him. The material is heavy enough that the mat doesn't slide all over the place.Its super easy to clean and I just put it in the dishwasher so it feels more sanitary.

It gives other cats also to grab a treat as well as they cannot pick it up as easily.Soft but durable material it seems. And washes easily so we are definitely getting more in the near future 😸

This lick pad is very durable and perfect for feeding my 43 lb. cattle dog mix a variety of wet foods including peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin, applesauce, tuna, mashed sweet potatoes, and more. She is so calm when she eats from this she actually closes her eyes.

It's a hit with my pups! I was looking for anything to give them a bit more stimulation throughout the day, and this is nice for both eating meals or slathering pumpkin puree or peanut butter for them to gleefully dislodge and entertain themselves for a while. Very pleased.

He stays entertained and it keeps him occupied for a long period of timeZ. The pad is easy to clean and wipes right off. The pad is very thick and durable. I recommend this one to others.
