Way better than that other popular brand.
My wife has gone through three of the popular brand mixers. They just don't hold up.She also has a lot of the add-on features for that model, so we have an investment.I saw that this mixer would use all the attachments and had a nice rating, so I took a chance and got it for her.She is glad I did, and so am I.The motor is strong enough for any of the breads she likes to make, and it drives the other attachments really well. One thing I didn't expect was that it is much quieter too. This is a great addition to her kitchen.

Finally a good mixer
Perfect mixer , I don’t like using a portable mixer, so this did the trick.

Packed well and impressed with the design.
I spend hours reading hundreds of reviews for stand mixers I was considering. I chose this one based on reviews that spoke to what is important to me. This mixer is between the heaviest and the lightest stand mixers I was looking at. I'm a small person and this mixer is manageable for me. Attachments for this mixer are metal as is the body of the mixer. I find this mixer to be much quieter than my old kitchen Aid. I used the mixer today and was very impressed with the very high meringue I made. I'm anxious to see what Kitchen Aid attachments will work with this mixer, one of the reasons I choose this one. I found all the controls to be in a comfortable location while in use. I love that the head goes up atutomatice when the arm is used to raise and lower it. I like that the splash guard has a slot where you can add ingredients while mixing ingredients. The warranty was important to me and the customer service reviews were good. At this point I would rate this stand mixer to be a better choice over the best Kitchen Aid. I really like it. If I find things that I don't like about this mixer after continued use, I will return and update this review.

Head & Shoulder Above Kitchenaid
Compared to the overrated, overpriced and prop65 carcinogen filled Kitchen-aid mixers and its line of accessories, it is a far superior unit in terms of weight, features, construction and versatility.(1) Lighter than competition.(2) Reasonably compact.(3) Twice power as the overrated and overpriced Kitchenaid's mixers.(4) Beautiful stainless steel bowl with handle. Kitchenaid charges even for the bowls that feature a handle and theirs is constructed from a dreadful aluminum alloy subject to rust and causing long term health issues. In other words, Kitchenaid's default design is deliberately made with a fault and you have to pay more to get something functional.(5) 1 of the 3 attachments (the whisk) is entirely made of stainless steel and works to perfection. The other two attachments (flat beater and spiral dough mixer) which are not stainless steel can be replaced from third party brands. While the two I've tried don't quite cover the bowl, they do fit the mechanism and make for an admirable, if not perfect stainless steel replacements. Search for ITEM MODEL # RZ-MIXERS-01 and ASIN: B093T1SL6N. I wish Hamilton Beach manufactured these parts in stainless steel as well, not with a coating . This is the reason for 3 star instead of 5.(6) The front connection allows for versatile attachment options, the most useful of which is a 100% stainless steel Hamilton Beach meat grinder/sausage maker. You will be pressed to find a 100% stainless meat grinder/sausage maker attachment. Every electric model has terrible reviews of industrial oil from motor seeping into the food. Even though I am not a meat eater, a meat grinder attachment has many non-meat uses. The dreadful Kitchenaid's meat grinder attachment has swapped the tried and tested stainless steel for a nasty aluminum metal alloy that forms dust, rust and endangers user's health, also not dishwasher safe.(6) The other attachments include pasta maker set and chopper/shredder. Overall these setups have performance issues and although the concept might create an impression that you will save space by buying the mixer and attachments instead of individual machines for each task, in the end you end up with a pile of add ons with no storage solution. The slicer/shredder add on by Hamilton Beach feature plastic. Not a good material when food is exposed to force and high friction. Overtime, it will dent, scratch and introduce micro plastic into the food. Also, the process is not perfect. It should have been made entirely from stainless steel and more tasks than just slicing and shredding. Although I haven't specifically tried the Hamilton Beach models, the common issue with similar models is that they are not back sealed. The food will move backwards, often into the mixer itself or get stock in places that make cleaning a nightmare.(7) The 3 pasta roller cutter add ons by Hamilton Beach work only with wheat based flours that include egg. It would be very hard to get a dough that can be processed through the cutters with non-wheat flours or without egg as an ingredient due to many differences and sticking issues. I wish they would come up with a tubular press mechanism that would extrude noodle/pasta made entirely from stainless steel. Those Italian style pasta cutters are a pain to use, have limited application in terms of extrusion and dough types and are difficult to clean. The idea of using a mixer as a base for many kitchen appliance is good but it is badly implemented. I like to see an updated product line that offers storage solution for all attachments made from premium foodgrade stainless steel and increased versatility in the range of tasks and quality of their performance.

Great stand up mixer for a very reasonable price
This is probably the best stand up mixer I have purchased. I've had a few, including one's that are significantly greater in price but I have to say this one has been the most durable and best functioning overall. Despite it's lower price it has all the same amenities as a pricier stand up mixer and I compared to others it is more powerful. It does not heat up quickly like some I've had before and I'm able to use attachments on it such as pasta noodle attachment and vegetable spiralizers on it that are made for more expensive stand up mixers. I'd recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a very reasonably priced stand up mixer. Great quality and great price!

Easy to use & much lighter than my old kitchen aid stand mixer
Easy to use, uses my kitchen aid attachments. Several pounds lighter than the kitchen aid as well. Has a flour guard that also functions well

Made the right choice
I was tossed between HB or Kitchen Aid, I felt the latter was more brand name. My gut said go with Hamilton Beach, I did and it was worth it. I make bread and pasta dough and meatloaf using ground beef and Italian sausage mix, cake mixes, and whipped cream. It is a workhorse the attachments are a Godsend, but what I love is Hamilton Beach and Kitchen Aid attachments are interchangeable. I bought a set of pasta makers that were for Kitchen Aid, before I bought them I spoke with Hamilton Beach and they said no worries they are interchangeable.I have worked this stand mixer for pasta dough, bread dough and it worked great, so very pleased with the stand mixer.
