Very weighty
Purchased this for use with a smaller DeLongi porter filter (51mm)I was surprised the build was 100% solid core stainless steel, and as a result feels very weighty, you could probably tamp using gravity alone for more consistency. The subface has been machined and polished smooth has great hand feel.The only down side is the fit is slightly small by ~1mm, not a major issue as this isn't priced/marketed as a precision tamper. The included mat is useful for preventing scratches, but is slightly large and sized for 58mm portafilters/tamps.Overall very happy

Pleasant surprise
Didn’t expect much as the last tamper brought via Amazon wasn’t of any decent quality, lightweight just ended up moving the puck around.No problems with this so far, surprisingly heavy, good price and quick delivery.

It's hefty!
Tap in your grinds to make them a little more compact. Don't know what difference it has made to my coffee but the ritual is fun!
