This is my second time purchasing these glass nail files, and the first set lasted many years. The regular emery nail files make my skin crawl, but the glass ones make nail filing tolerable. I trim my nails short and straight across, these smooth down any edges quickly/efficiently.

I learned about these files from a friend, about five years ago. After filing my nails one time, I was sold on only using these nails files for my nails. The file has never created jagged edges, works quickly, and best of all helps me to get the shape I most prefer. Family and friends have often borrowed mine, and walked right out the door with the file. This year I purchased everyone their own file. I’ve kept three for myself, because as sure as I know my name, I know someone will be borrowing a nail file and I will be one short.

I like these better than old fashioned files.

I got these to give as gifts...they were packaged properly and none were broken. They work well, although not as well as some I had gotten years ago and have since been unable to find. Those were thinner and each side was a different 'coarseness', like two grades of really fine sand paper. All in all, they'll do.
