Grainy/Doesnt work...
It appears many people have the problem of it being grainy/not working. I bought this early this year and just now plugged it in. It doesnt work, I am using the same cable i was plugging into it to write this review. 0 stars...

I’m not mirrow not extended
Bought it but can’t use it so I guess for what it is used for then sure it would work but to have 2 displays that are extended view don’t buy this it only mirror

Converts a single HDMI port to two HDMI ports
The TV only had two HDMI ports. One was connected to Direct TV and the other had a Fire stick. We wanted to be able to view pictures from our trail camera without going behind the TV to remove the Fire stick and plug in an HDMI cable to our laptop. This splitter allowed us to easily connect the laptop to the same HDMI port as the fire stick from the front of the TV. We just turn off the power to the Fire stick so only one device is using the HDMI port at a time. The TV was wall mounted in a corner so back access was very difficult.

It would have been really nice if these instructions were in the description. Especially the part about you have to unplug one HDMI from the splitter to get a clear picture! What? What is the point of the splitter then? I can just continue to plug and unplug the HDMIs like I have been doing! Pointless. 3 stars because it worked with my laptop but not any of my other devices.

It works
So I gave it 5 stars because it does do a great job at mirroring display good quality. However I’m just a tad bit disappointed one of the videos said it can do extended display. This is not true and for that reason the product no longer is useful to me.

VERY UNHAPPY
Bought so I could dual stream to two different tvs. But as soon as you plug the 2nd cable in the video drops. It's basically a 1 foot extender, but not even a good one. Because even with a single cable plugged in the video will refuse to work sometimes.
