I think most folks are buying this with the intention of camping or making a day trip to the lake or the beach... We bought this because we often attend conventions and my wife likes to do meal prep so we aren't eating out so much. Hotel fridges are too small to do this effectively. Enter this electric cooler. You can get a lot of food into it. It reaches temp very quickly. We stuffed it full of yogurt, hummus, fruit and veggies - all kinds of stuff - put in the back of the car and plugged it into the electric socket and off we went.It does keep temp very effectively - like you can stop for an hour and go eat lunch without worrying about the food in the cooler. When you hop back in the car and start it up - the cooler will resume cooling at the temp you set to start with. It handles just like a big ice chest - just a little heavier when it is empty. At the hotel, we brought it in and plugged it back in and it worked trouble free for the week.It comes with a remote, but we didn't ever use it. Once you set it to your preferences it is just going to do its thing.Best thing ever. This is going to save us a ton of money because we can load up at the grocery and do food prep for a week instead of eating out all the time or buying hotel food. We estimate 2-3 big trips and it will pay for itself.

The first thing you notice about this cooler is the contemporary but current design. The latch is spring loaded locking the lid shut until you want to open it. You can open with one hand and requires little pressure. The interior removable basket is made out of coated metal and there is a drain plug at the bottom for easy cleaning and or defrosting. This cooler will go down to the negatives making it a freezer if needed.It comes with a standard plug as well as a cigarette lighter type adapter for most vehicles. I am excited to use it in the trips to Costco where I can plug it in to my Rivian R1S directly in the back!The wheels are a great option to use if you are going to the beach or camping or something taking items into the house from the grocery store.One very useful option is you can get the app and control the cooler from your phone either iOS or android connected via Bluetooth! I tested the cooler immediately upon arrival and within 10 minutes it cooled from 81° to 40°. It was so quiet I had to bend down and listen to verify that it was even on!The control pad is very straightforward with a temperature up or down power on or off and the settings menu, which helps you pair your telephone to the cooler below. The power button is a USB output for charging your devices on the go!

I now have 2 one is a small one and this is the 64 and we live full time in a camper and we have one as a freezer and one outdoors to keep our soda and milk and other items in as a refrigerator by far the best cooler we have ever found, we highly recommend it to our friends and family and highly recommend it to others The red cooler in the picture is what we went from to the 64 p

I was happy to have the item arrive sooner than originally projected. Arrived well packed and 4 days early :)With the divider removed, I feel the fridge has plenty of room for my upcoming roadtrip. I'm not sure when/if I will use the dual zone and make use of the freezer but, for the price, I purchased this option and the removable divider. As directed, I unpacked and let the device sit overnight unplugged on a level surface nad opened to let some of the new plastic smell go away (and it did). Overall, the fridge came to programmed temperature relatively quickly and maintained that temperature +/- 1 degree F. So this made me happy. I gave the 4 stars because I wish the closing latch was a bit more sturdy/tighter seal to maintain the temperature a nit longer when unpluged (no power) I wanted to share some results. Overall happy with unit out of the box.Based on a room temperature of 74F, I had the following results:Unit came to temperature in about 10mins once plugged in an powered on. I feel that is very good results. Maintained a temperature of 37F +/-1 for an extended period of time and ran pretty quietly. I then powered off the unit and kept the lid closed and sealed to see how long it would maintain the temperature. I was disspaointed that it really did not maintain the temperature for very long after power turned off. I had originally bought the much larger Bodega cooler and was so happy with how well it performed, I decided to buy the 38Qt as well. The size is perfect for the subtrunk storage in our Tesla Model X. The removable center divider inside makes it very convenient to run it as a single or dual zone cooler. Temperature adjustment is very fast and very accurate. The build quality is extremely good and the software is very intuitive. I have bought a couple other brands in the past which I had returned. Bodega seems to be highly focused on ergonomics and quality. You won't be disappointed!

I have this for a while - so this review has time and experience behind it. This is a very nice unit. Works well and seems to be well built. In addition, it has a five year warranty on the compressor - which is the cat's meow. No complaints at all and I think it will serve well for years to come.

Purchased my Bodega cooler for my solar powered camping rig. The cooler has done amazing with very low draw on my battery. I've relied on it for multi-week trips. Well worth the money as its much less expensive than many DC fridges and did just as well. I have the dual zone but mostly used it in fridge mode although I did use the freezer successfully a few times.
