This is very nice. My turtles don’t use it for what I intended but this is nice.

I have the medium hide box that I got from Pangea Reptiles and the medium slate to put on top. It’s a great fit and the slate even comes with four small pads underneath to grip the hide and remain in place. It is thinner than I thought but I really like it. It came packaged better than I expected too. Probably because it’s thin. I definitely plan to get a few more for the other medium hides.

Nice product but extremely fragile

Bowser, my turtle son, is up there all the time. I made some legs out of PVC to hold it in place. Bowser likes that it is actual rock though it could be a bit larger.

I love it I use it for my leopard gecko, he loves it too ♥️ Good way for belly’ heat! Also good for feeding him on as well

It is a nice flat slate and a good size. The thickness is about 3/8 in thick maybe a little less but not bad. Feels sturdy. Came well packaged in styrofoam. The slate has a line in it like it was cracked and glued back together but I think that's the way it was cut. Not a problem. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it gets super hot. I touched it and it was so hot I couldn't leave my fingers on it. Do not put it directly under basking light. Move it away a little and it will still be warm but not unbearable so your tortoise won't burn its feet.

This is a nice little bit of slate, but it's incredibly thin (like 1-2cm) and arrived shattered. I could tell they tried to package it nicely and there was some styrofoam, but with how fragile the slate is, it takes almost nothing to break. I did try gluing it back together and it's sorta kinda holding up, but even my tortoise (who is about 6 inches long) climbing around roughly on it has broken the edges.

Perfect, just what I was looking for. Came in proper packaging and was NOT broken.Happy bearded dragon over here.
