If my waist says I should wear a small in these should I order medium since the reviews say they're sized smaller than expected?

They run small. Definitely order the next size up.

Do they have an opening in front?

No. No opening. Extremely disappointed. I guess Fruit of the Loom now expects men to sit down to urinate. And they're thinner than previous breathable underwear.

How is the room in the crotch area? My teen often complains his boxer briefs pinch his balls but he doesn’t like feeling unsupported with boxers?
