Have bought a number of lights on Amazon that claim to be 1000s of lumen. This 800 lumen light is brighter. Gives very good clear beam.Is only compact so battery life isn’t amazing but if want a longer life can turn down the brightness.One thing to note only comes with mount for helmet. I thought from reading advert also came with bike mount.

I upgraded from 400 to 800 and recommendcanyone to have this as you have 3 light intensity to select from, 800-400-200 lumens insted of 400-200 and a bigger battery, the houseing is made of aluminium alloy feels much better.

Lasted me 2 hours on full brightness so not sure if they've changed something, only improvement would be USB-C but not too bad since it won't be plugged in everyday like a phone.

Great light that is easily bright enough for commuting and off road. Solid metal design. Easy to recharge and good (but not spectacular) battery life. The 800 is perhaps a bit heavy for the helmet - the 500 is lighter.

Fits well to helmet. Good beam but unfortunately battery life isn’t brilliant. Fully charged I’m getting about seventy mins and then it dies. Bought cheaper unbranded bike light which lasts nearly two hours!!!!

I got this as a second light to go on my helmet, supplementing the main one on my bars.this is better! the 800lm is far brighter than the 1500lm (claimed) non-branded light I have.will probably get a second one for the barsonly downside is battery life, would be good if you could have additional batteries.

Toller Fahrradscheinwerfer, der nicht als dieser gedacht ist, da er als Helmscheinwerfer ausgelegt ist. Die Halterung für den Lenker muss man extra kaufen, ist aber auch möglich und habe ich auch gleich zweimal getan. Die Helligkeit stufen sind toll, 800 Lumen bringen hervorragend viel Licht auf die Straße. Die zwei Flash Modi sind während der Helligkeit oder Dämmerung nicht zu übersehen, Autofahrer sind auf jeden Fall gewarnt.

Servus, also habe sie jetzt für ne nachfahrt am Gardasee benutzt am Helm, und eine G-Volt 50 am Lenker und es war völlig ausreichend ist mega hell. Akku auch gut durchgehalten. Top!!!!!!

Eine wirklich gute Fahrradbeleuchtung mit einer sehr guten Verarbeitung und einem absolut ausreichendem Lichtkegel auch für höhere Geschwindigkeiten.Vergleich des Lichtkegels kann auf der Cateye Homepage gesehen werden, dort kann man die Ausleuchtung der Modelle sehen.Leider sind diese Lampen nicht zugelassen und man müsste als Radfahrer mit weniger Licht klar kommen.

Die elektronischen Komponenten mit Ladebuchse sind wackelig verbaut. Der gleiche Fehler wie beim Vorgängermodell Volt 800. Der Akku lässt sich nicht laden, die Programme nicht schalten. Mit etwas Pech geht die Lampe nicht mehr an oder aus.Absoluter Nachteil ist auch die nicht vorhandene Abwärtskombatibilität zum Vorgängermodell. Dadurch lassen sich bereits vorhandene Akkus nicht weiternutzen.
