LEGO City Police 60043 Prisoner Transporter

I am granma to the young man who put these together and loves Legos. Since I purchased these for him and see how much he and his 3 sisters enjoy them, then I would have to rate these toys very high. My grandson loves to design and experiment to see just what he can make from all of his Legos. When I ordered these from Lego, I was pleased that they were shipped promptly, received in good condition and opened with excitement. Thanks Lego!

Very very cool. My son loved it! Came in perfect condition. He had it out together by that evening. And my favorite part is it came so fast. Delivery was faster than the expected delivery date. My son's favorite part, checking the mail. And how exciting it is to receive his New Legos. Worth it. But for those wanting to save $ Wal-Mart.com is cheaper. I've just always been an Amazon fan myself

This was very easy to put together and has become one of my sons favorite Lego sets. I also like to play with it. The police truck is small enough to play with and be a little rough with without pieces falling off. It would be nice to have the lego "guys" have better grip to stay on the four wheeler but I understand that legos are legos and don't have thumbs :) All in all very happy with this small set and the laughs I have shared with my son.

This is a pretty cool LEGO set.*Please note, this set is retired and no longer available for retail price ($24.99).The transport vehicle has a lot of excellent features and is a sturdy solid build. This is especially important when you have young brickers out there who like to play rough with their LEGO. There's also a lot of movement with the transport vehicle... the top roof area opens, both the two side prisoner bar windows pop open for a quick escape, and lastly, the back door opens to provide access to the inside of the prisoner transport portion of the vehicle.The small ATV-like escape vehicle that comes with this set is ok (nothing too special), but it does come with a hook that can be attached to the transport bar windows to pull them out, thus resulting in a spectacular escape. There are three LEGO minifigs with this set (1 criminal, 1 prisoner, and 1 police officer). That is an above average number of minifigs for a set this size.In closing, because this set is now retired, the secondary prices to purchase this set are rather high. Though I like this set and think would be a great addition to any LEGO city, I'd be hesitant to pay the high secondary market prices since they are quite a bit higher than the original retail price. My recommendation would be to keep my eyes open for the current LEGO police line and see if there is something that is similar, but yet more appropriately priced. I might recommend  LEGO City Police Mobile Command Center 60139 Building Toy  or  LEGO City Police Bulldozer Break-In 60140 Building Kit .Hopefully this review was helpful in your decision making process... if so, please let me know below. Purchased for my grandson for Christmas. If you have a Lego enthusiast, this is a good one as what small boy doesn't like cops and robbers? He loved it. If you are a grandmother looking for an additional present to go with this, get your grandson some Lego boards to build their houses, garages, etc. on - then they don't have to take it apart right away and can display their architectural feats for awhile!

Sorta a mobile police jail. The best part of the set is the rider features "Jackson" with a cool leather helmet and jacket and riding goggles. The helmet and goggles give him a determined look rather than his usual mean look. Goes with the red quad bike. Just like with the station there are multiple paths to freedom.

My 5 year old son loves Legos. He put this package together in one night. It kept him busy. After it was put together he played with it for hours. He adds other Lego accessories to it and adds more of his guys to it. A great addition to his Lego collection.

What can you say about lego but genius. I love Legos because my kids ranging from 5 - 10 can sit for hours building and playing Legos. So much better than tv or video games. This particular set is a perfect addition to the police station. Nothing like capturing the bad guys.
