Do you play guitar?
I play guitar. It's quite enjoyable and everyone should. It's REALLY enjoyable if you stick one of these to the body of a Strat with Floyd Rose though. I plug the guitar into a practice amp like normal, but I disconnect the wires from the internal speaker and run them to this Dayton audio transducer. Since it's in contact with the body of the guitar, it resonates it like a speaker, which feeds back through the strings and then the pickups. It's kinda like having a Berserker eBow. The whole guitar resonates. You can get gnarly feedback at low volume. With a Floyd? Dive bombs from hell at low volume is really cool and pretty surreal.Make sure to keep the amp at zero when you start off. A little bit of overdrive helps. Within the first 5 minutes of playing with it the transducer started to smell a little bit and got kinda hot (all my fault!) so I turned it off for a bit. It never stopped working but I wanted to make sure I didn't destroy it. If I had, I'd have cursed at myself and instantly ordered another one.For under $20 it's a really cool device, and I haven't even tried the "traditional" setups, i.e. plywood or a gaming chair.I will buy more of these things to experiment with. If you find a vibrating toilet seat on Amazon in the near future, it was I who was responsible.

Impressive
I was skeptical from all the videos. They are much better than I could have hoped for. For the price there is nothing that can compare. I was looking for a way to set up a projector that requires a receiver for audio. These let me build a soundstage that was truly amazing as well as being able to easily move them.

Great for fiberglass boat.
I have four in my boat. Mounted with 3m double stick on the under side of the fiberglass. Lots of sound, works great.

Great buy
Bought two of these a couple weeks ago just to see how they would sound. On a table or something hard and flat with no anchors, they sound like a pair of very bad speakers. Once I anchored them securely with wood screws though, I was amazed at how clear they were compared to what I was expecting which was an absolutely nothing special. They are clear and compete well with my Logitec x540. I attached them to the loft that holds my bed so I can hear and feel the music in my bed and hear it clearly when near it. I used a 2 channel 40watt amp and it is fine. Maybe a little under powered but it does get loud. With the success of the exciters so far, I will install 4 of these inside the walls of my bedroom sometime in the next few months. I will update the review once I finish that. All in all, fun and very good buy especially for the price. I will be buying many more.

Sounds excellent on window.
The media could not be loaded. Edit: Just bought my second one of these. Ive had one mounted to one of my apartment windows for over a year now. I put this latest purchase on the next window, (and got my TV between the windows :-) ). The music sounds GREAT! Movies are decent... I think I'm going to try using acoustic ceiling tiles hung from my ceiling with some paracord. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and quantity of sound I get from these two little devices! If you're thinking of buying it... BUY IT! I'll post up a video as soon as I get the ceiling tiles.Overall, very happy with the transducer. I attached it to a window next to my desk using double sided foam tape, and a mini amp to drive the sound. The sound is excellent, especially for watching a TV show or movie. It does sound slightly like i am sitting in a large auditorium, but for the price, size and power consumption, i am very happy with sound quality and volume. I only bought ONE of these transducers and I'm thrilled so far.. I will be getting another one to try setting up a stereo sound setup.

These little guys rock hard
Using in a virtual pinball table - have 4 of them along with 2 Dayton bass shakers. The table bumps - love the feedback they give. Have to pair them with a decent amp to get the most out of them. Bought this version because it easily screwed into the sidewall of the cabinet.

Good but heavy vs magnetism
It is pretty neat except a little too heavy for its magnetic force capability, therefore unable to use it as autosticked to a metal surface, also the vibration doesn't help to make it work that way. Would need to be sticked or screwed, fixed by any mean, which doesn't fit my need so i returned it for a smaller/lighter model of same brand.

Work well.
Work well. Mounted to dense foam panels and hung from ceiling. You can mount these to about anything
