Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color 13b, Spiced Cider, Light Warm Brown 1 Kit

The package was open on the bottom and damaged. The color container was in a jar instead of a tube.The gloves were on the instruction sheet and it said it was made in Mexico. I didn't like the color and I was afraid to use it. It looked carrot red. You can buy the real thing for 7 dollars and some cents so don't pay almost twice for this old procuct. I trashed it.

I colored my hair for the first time using this product. It is non-permanent. That's what I wanted, just in case I didn't like the outcome. The color did add warmth to my dark brown hair and mixed well with the warm brown my professional hair stylist used previously on my hair. I only gave it three stars because the directions said to leave the dye on no more than twenty minutes. It did not cover my gray, and I have lots of it.

Doesn't last very long. One shampoo & most of it washes out.

Covered greys beautifully. (10 - 20% grey) Was darker and redder than package said, but expected this with a demi permanent and thus ordered this color to achieve a medium chestnut brown. Hair is shiny and easy to manage. Very pleased. Do take note that this color gives a medium chestnut brown and not the light warm brown stated when used on medium brown hair with a tendency to show red highlights in sunlight.
