A&E Cage Co. Java Wood Multi Branch Perch Size: Medium (22" L)

Very annoying that Amazon makes it hard to find and order the X-Small size! There IS one!Do a search for "Java Wood Multi Branch Perch Size: X-Small (14" L)" In the results, click on the link under "more buying choices" that says "new". If you don't see that link, then search a different way. In the search box pull down menu on the left of the search box, select "Pet Supplies". Next only type 14" into the search box and click the search button. Next narrow down the results by selecting categories on the left. First select Birds, then Perches. As I write this today, you have to click on the "new" link under "more buying choices" to be able to order the X-Small size. If you click on the link for the product, the smallest option available will be small, not X-Small (maybe they'll fix that in the future.)The branch I got was ok. It's an ok size for small birds like budgies and cockatiels. It's not very long and little gnarled with some branches close together, so it's tough to figure out which side should face up to optimize perching surface. Some of the branch bits stick out on a diagonal and are not great perch surfaces, unless I turn it sideways so those stick straight out. Then I sacrifice some head room because another bit gets in the way. I suppose I could rotate this from time to time so a different part faces up. Considering there's no way to know what you'll get, I think the piece I got is ok. I might order another someday. I have a large cage (22") so this would fit fine, but I bought this to use as a perch outside the cage. It can work well for both purposes.If you have smaller birds and want the X-Small size, it does exist. Follow my steps above to find and order it.

The perch fits our need for a diagonal type of parrot access from lower to upper levels of a large cage. The fastener is 1/2 13 tpi thread with a large washer + wing nut to mount the branch to the cage. We have an older Amazon and now we need him to accept something new; not into change.

I thought the perch will be thinner so it's a little big and it take a lot of space in my cage but my cockatiel like it and enjoy it!

I expected a really nice perch from the pictures. The one I received seems like decent quality but only came with one washer and is just a very boring y shaped stick.

The branch was hard enough so my blue and gold macaw can not chew it, but it's shaped strange so not all branches are usable. It's short, only reached about 1/2 of the king's cage.

This perch is the most perfect unique perch out there! I love how many different size branches it has and how exact the thickness and length is that they tell you. This is a MUST HAVE for every and all bird companions! Buying more!!

Holy s***, this thing is HUGE. I bought it for a sculpture that I'm working on.... HOLY HELL. I can make it work though... I bought a large and it forms and "L" shape, going 28 inches in both directions.... WOW.

My parrot LOVES this perch. It is his new favorite one.
