My Hand Was Burnt Because Of the Hold In Your Mitt !!!!!!!
Since I wanted to simply ask for my money back but the return wouldn't let me I'll fill you in where everyone can read that you don't double check your mitts being checked prior to sending them out to your clients. I received them and loved the mitts and the color, HOWEVER, when I took out the chicken thighs this evening my hand was BURNED because there was a whole in one of you mitts and the hold was big enough that it burnt my left hand between my thumb and "pointy" finger. Just to let you know I hate getting burned and the hole was big enough that the burn was significant. I'm almost 70 years old and never had this happen before and hope it never happens again. Please have whoever packs these mitts to double checks for wholes. Picking up something as hot as something that comes directly out of a 350 degree oven after 45 min was definitely something my hand should be reimbursed for!

They are alright
You can take a hot dish out of the oven and put it on the stovetop or cooling rack pretty easily. I wouldn't recommend trying to take a dish straight out of the oven and walking across the street to your neighbor's house because you won't make it to 40 feet before your hands start to burn and you drop your dish. lolTheir heat resistance is just ok. You can take a dish out of a 425 degree oven and hold it in your hands for about 10 seconds before the heat coming through the mits is very uncomfortable. At 15 seconds you're going to throw the dish at the nearest counter. lolSeriously though, just know where you plan to set the hot dish down once you take it out of the oven and do it. These mits are like wrapping 2 dishtowels around each of your hands. You got a little time before you burn. They are longer mits so they come up your forearm a bit to protect you a bit too. The outer material is like dishcloth material too so there's no extra grip to it but you've taken dishes out of the oven with a dishtowel so don't sweat it.Why such a long review for oven mits you ask? Simple, I'm reviewing all my past purchases on Amazon right now during the Covid-19 lock down. I'm bored. Today is April 10, 2020. Hope they find a vaccine soon!

Began Falling Apart First Wash
Got these in yellow to match our counter tops and because I prefer fabric over silicone potholders. These have a nice feel and the outer terry fabric is soft. They're a bit wide and very thick but had a fairly comfortable grip once on. Did my usual and tossed them in the wash right off. They came out of the dryer as pictured. I expected some running and threads at the seams; that's not unusual at all with fabrics though this seemed like quite a bit. However I did not expect the terry fabric to begin coming undone as it is, or the seam where the thumb meets the rest to pull apart as it did.

I went to take a casserole out of the oven and burned my hand pretty good. I had to go to Urgent Care ...
Who would ever think to check the seams of a pair of oven mitts? Well I certainly should have. BOTH mitts have holes along the inner part of the thumb. I went to take a casserole out of the oven and burned my hand pretty good. It bubbled up quickly and then the blister popped. It hurt like hell! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE OVEN MITTS!!! I wish I could have rated the ZERO stars as one is too much when a product injures you!!

Well constructed oven mitts in great colors, soft material and they get the job done.
I have bought these terry cloth oven mitts now 3 times in different colors and I love them.I am messy and once they get dirty I throw them out and get new ones. They are reasonably priced so it's easy to do. They have lasted me about a year and a half each. They will wash but are never the same. They get kind of out of wack. Possibly if you laid them flat to dry they would turn out ok.They are well worth the money. They are thick and comfortable and so the job of keeping your hands safe from heat. They are lightweight and unabteusive, making them easy to use.Simple, great colors, easily perfect for a gift to match someone's fun kitchen colors.Well made and very soft.

Won't buy again
I really like the size and thickness of these oven mitts. They also do well at being heat resistant. However, after using them just a few times, one glove started splitting at the seams exposing the inside of the mitt. The other one is just fine. Weird that one split apart in no time at all and the other one is still like brand new after months of use. So the one glove should continue to last quite some time, while the other glove will need to be replaced in no time at all.

Beware severe burns
Loved at first. Clean, thick, and did not feel any heat from pans removed from oven or pot handles. I bought two pair to alternate while the other was in the laundry. They do require machine wash to clean and one use and they are soiled. After a few washes, or the slightest moisture, it becomes apparent the seams do not have a protective heat resistant covering. I reached into the oven to remove an iron skillet pizza and before I could get it on the stove top I received a severe, blistering burn down my second finger. If the mitt shifts ever so slightly towards the seam, there is no protection. I would post a picture but it’s too disgusting. This product should be recalled and not sold again.

Look Good, but NOT very functional
Not a total waste of money. Mitts look nice and the design allows for multiple storing/hanging options. Convenient to hang on the oven handle for easy reach. However, the material is thin and so are the pot holder pads. Do not attempt to walk very far with a fresh out of the oven tray. They serve their purpose if you are taking a pan out of the oven to the counter next to it. Do not attempt to walk across the kitchen with anything hot.

Heat Resistant, Average Sized, Accurate Color
Color is spot on so I’m happy with that. Material is nothing I’ve seen before but they’re oven mitts, I don’t hang them on the wall as a decoration. Really stiff so a bit awkward but I hope they soften with time. Washed in machine and dried in dryer to soften them but it didn’t work - but they didn’t shrink!

Came with hole in seam. Poor quality product.
Horrible quality. Came with a hole in the seam at the hand/thumb joint that caused me to nearly burn myself with first use. Also, poor and stiff fit, making it difficult to hold things while wearing gloves.

Good!
Its a towel like material, which i wasnt expecting...they would probably get dirty easily but also good cause they can go in the wash. They are a little thin.. but work good heat resistant wise. I love the colour so i had to get them to match the colour scheme in my home.

Works well.
It works. I use it to take large Cornell Bowls out of the micro-wave. I used to wad up some paper towels (one on each side) so I could take it out of the micro-wave without burning my fingers. There was always the chance I could drop the bowl. These gloves work well. You can barely feel the slightest warmth of the bowl with these gloves on.The exterior of the glove is a fuzzy material. The inside is a smooth and knitted material.
