Cuts prep time by 75%!
Key word versatility! I use it for Fries, Fruit Salad, Carrot sticks. Its extremely easy to use which is a preference. I can tell alot of thought was put into the design because it comes apart easily, making it easy to clean and maintain.

Awesome french fry cutter
I love this french fry cutter. It adheres to the counter and cuts great. I love the attachment that pushes the end thru the holes of the cutter. It is very well made and so simple to use. It cleans very easily. I would recommend this cutter.

Works great for a reasonable price.
I wanted to try out the cutter a few times before I made any decisions. Overall I read a lot of suggestions before I used it. For example, for sweep potatoes, I saw it is best to partially cook the sweet potato in a wet paper towel for a few minutes before using the cutter because they are so hard. That appears to work pretty well. In addition, do not try to force the vegetable through on one push. Use partial pushes and it will go through with less trauma to the cutter. I don't mind the leverage and the suction cup works very well. It hasn't slipped yet. The only bummer is the cutter will cut the plastic pusher, even when taking care not to force the vegetable through the blades. With that said, I've had to look into my cuttings to see if any black plastic is also buried in the fries. Lastly, the fries land right on the counter, I've tried to fix this with a paper towel, but if you had any improvements, I don't know if you can provide a little catcher box...possibly open on one end and closed on three sides and the bottom. The bottom could be slightly longer than the sides on the open end so it partially slides under the mechanism and the fries are then pushed into the container. This would allow for an easier scooping of the cut product. Overall this product has been useful for me and I have no major complaints. My rating is 4 out of 5 stars due to the plastic shavings and potential improvement with a catcher cup/box.

Although not the WORST cutter out there, I am willing to bet it is in the top 5.
The build quality is questionable. The cutter blades struggle to stay locked in place and the handle and armature has quite a bit of side to side slop in it. The cutter includes a rubber square that attempt to pass itself off as a suction cup, but fails miserably. The plastic inserts that are intended to help push the potato through the cutting grid were apparently designed with no consideration to the actual dimensions of the squares within which it is supposed to fit. This results in the potatoes not fully cutting without having another chunk of potato fed into the cutter in order to force the previous one completely through the other side. Unfortunately, this means that you will inevitably be left thumb-wrestling the final potato chunk out of the cutter. The blades are not particularly effective in cutting through potatoes, so cutting the potatoes into smaller chunks is recommended. Even after cutting the potato into smaller pieces quite a bit of force is required to actually coax/mush the potato chunks through the cutter. On the bright side, this provides for a great forearm workout. There is also not a lot of depth to the feeding cavity so most potatoes will need to be cut into shorter chunks. This does beg the question - Should I just finish cutting the fries by hand?

What I think
The suction barely works. And the smaller cutting blade is harder to use than the large one, of course. But it does the job eventually after the struggle.
