Columbia Rope Tow III Waterproof Boot Snow

Disclaimer - I'm a small adult who bought these for a glacier hike. These are great in that they're waterproof and have good traction. I think they were mainly meant for small adolescents playing around in the snow and not intense snow sports, but they held up pretty well.

I bought these for my 2 year old son. His normal size is about 7 toddler so I ordered an 8. The top portion of the boot is very narrow and makes it extremely difficult to get his foot in. So difficult that we ended up cutting the shoe laces to the pull the tongue down and create more room. Once they are on, they fit fine and are pretty stylish. Haven't tested them in the cold just yet but look really warm.

I'm an adult female, shoe size 6.5 to 7 US (36 EU). I bought these in size 6 big kids, and they fit perfectly. Love them, and they absolutely keep my feet warm!

The boots are great- made very well. However the top is very narrow, even with releasing the strings -it's very tough to get the boot on my 5 year old. Normal sized feet, not wide, not too narrow, but the opening into the boot is tough. We had to wiggle it on with effort to get it on, otherwise, great boot, great fit. Just hard to put on.

I purchased these for my 10 year old son. However, I think I wear them more than he does. Very comfortable and a good fit. Haven’t tested too much in heavy snow or rain yet. Will update review when I do.

The boot is cute. I purchased a 4 which was a size up, but my nephew said the front was extremely tight and uncomfortable. I had to return them. I didn't want to size up again because the boot is bulky. He said it was tight around the stitching area in the front and he has narrow feet so I was surprised about the fit.

I bought these for my 11 year old son. He absolutely loves them: they're warm, comfortable and easy to put on and take off.We live in New York, so these are perfect for winter. The sole has a nice grip, but they don't look clunky. Excellent boots!

Colombia is a really great brand! im more of a northface person! but my woman is a colombia person hands down! to me i don't want to buy northface stuff for someone who is still growing like my son! so instead the next best winter brand is colombia, i don't want to have to give away all that northface stuff when they outgrow it! northface stuff is expensive! colombia stuff is just a little less expensive thank god! & colombia Inc.

Wir haben den Schuh in mehreren Größen probiert, da bei den Winterschuhen das mit der passenden Größe für die Kids ja immer sehr unsicher ist. Zügiger Versand, danke Amazon. Ausgepackt, kurz gefreut und dann gewundert. Der Schuh hat einen krassen "Knick" vorn am Spann (siehe Bild), über den Zehen. Sobald die Sohle etwas gebogen wird, wie beim normalen Abrollen beim Laufen, drückt sich diese Knickkante direkt in die Zehen. Ich habe das auch einmal getestet und meine Hand in den Schuh gesteckt, selbst die Finger wurden dabei schon gedrückt. Mein Sohn hat eine Größe 36 und wir haben die Größe 38 probiert, mit dünnen Socken und dicken Wollsocken. Keine Chance, es drückt an der Seite und vor allem beim Laufen von oben. Für diese Konstruktion ist der Schuch einfach nicht steif genug, aus meiner Sicht eine völlige Fehlkonstruktion. Keine Ahnung wie die anderen Kinder das machen, irgendwo müssen die guten Bewertungen ja her kommen, an der Fußbreite oder dem Spann kanns nicht liegen....Wir greifen also wieder auf die North Face Chilkat zurück, mit derselben Isoliermenge von 200g sind die deutlich dicker isoliert und haben ein stabiles Vorderteil mit ausreichend Platz für warme Winterfüße :-)

Schade. Insgesamt ein gut verarbeiteter Schuh. Nur leider fällt er klein aus. Wir haben für mein schmalfüßiges Kind eine Nummer größer genommen. Da hätte der Schuh zwar sehr anliegend aber genau gepasst, allerdings macht die Naht am Übergang von Kappe und Textil einen Wulst, welcher extrem nach innen drückt.

Sie sind wasserdicht und robust. Wir hatten schon letztes Jahr die Schuhe eine Nummer kleiner und weil die so super waren, haben wir sie wieder gekauft. Sie sind warm und bequem zu tragen und halten den Waldausflügen auch in Matsch und Schnee gut stand.
