Recently bought this monocular after trying out a cheaper version from a competitor. This monocular fits easily in one's hand and has a strap to allow a firmer grip. The visual quality is clear and despite the magnification I am able to steady the image. The package includes a lightweight tripod that attaches easily and can be used for both the monocular and a smartphone. The smartphone attachment connects securely but I would recommend a stable surface when using it. The case is solid, fits the included components, and protects the device well. The seller is highly responsive to questions. Note: this is a fixed magnification, not a variable zoom lens. You can zoom in by using your cell camera through the attachment. Overall I'm very satisfied with this device.

The overall product is good, not great or exceptional. I expected to zoom in much closer than it actually zoomed in. I actually found another one half the price with a better magnification. The quality of the workmanship is amazing. The clarity is exceptional and operation of the buttons is easy. Nighttime viewing is impressive too.

The strap eye was broken and I can't see my target from 15 yards had to buy another set I can see 1city block from 15 stories up with real 12× and read t-shirts if people walking around with real 12×

I put it in my backpack all the times. In my trip to Grand Circle, I took it out in so many places like viewing spectacular Grand Canyon, also useful when encountered elks on the way, observing condors gliding at top of Angels Landing. It totally worth it if you are an outdoor activity enthusiast.

This unit is very light and easy to carry around, especially with the back-of-the-hand strap. And the image is very clean and well focused. Because it's so portable I had it with me yesterday on the beach and it was very handy for watching a pod of killer whales. Comes with a nice case as well. However the tripod is really just a toy but I have better ones so will use them instead. The threads in the monocular and in the phone mount are plastic so the threads may strip some day. The phone mount works for my LG Velvet. I also like that I can focus with or without my glasses on, and my prescription is quite strong.

I gave this to my son as a Christmas present so he could take phone videos of aircraft at our local airbase. He didn’t try it out until recently now that the good weather has arrived - he attached his phone, put it on the tripod and was carrying it out his door when the part of the tripod holding the scope and his phone broke off, sending his phone and the scope crashing to the ground. He had to a buy a new phone as a result making this deal of a scope not such a great deal.

Great for the money...rugged due to the outer rubber coating, as I've dropped it twice with no harm. The case is also durable and light and its so easy and comfortable to use with one hand, which I prefer over. binoculars. Don't be fooled by the one whose adds pop up all the time, this is the real deal.

Great item for whale and bird watching. Light weight and easy to use. Night vision doesn't work in complete darkness but work good at sunrise and sunset while still hazy.
