BioBag 2 Gallon Compostable Liner (200)

These bags fit my countertop compost bin perfectly. They aren’t exactly sturdy, but they’re not supposed to be. Very convenient!

I live in Ca. and we recently started using bio compostable bags in a small counter top bucket which the city supplied along with 20 bags. What we were informed of what we could put into the bags would greatly reduce what we would normally put into the regular garbage can.I ordered these bags so that I can continue to do my part in composting rather than adding to what would end up in landfills as garbage.These bio bags break down as the compostable food decomposes whereas a regular plastic bag can never do that.

Two of my bags broke with food in it :( I purchased the 2 gallon ones and did not fill it up fully and when I took it out of my compost bin it broke! It happened twice with another bag. And now this third one has a rip in it. I love that it is bio degradable and it feels really nice but in order for them to work well they need to be a bit sturdier so food doesn’t break through.

If you put too much in one of these bags it will rupture with slop going all over.Amazon seems to think that putting a paper box inside a plastic envelope will survive the trip unharmed. But the box was flattened probably immediately, and the 6 rolls unrolled all over the inside of their substitute for a real cardboard box.This was one time when they didn't ask me if the shipping was great. It was poor.I rewound the rolls used an old box which had been properly shipped, and put some rolls in a ziploc bag, which should be fine as long as I don't try to ship it somewhere.

Easy to dispense every day as small enough.

I love the concept of these bags. They are more pricey than the competition. Yes you use this for compost bags and don’t take it out every two days then they end it leaking because the nature of fruit and vegetable waste is there is a lot of water. The wetness ends of leaking through brakes in the bag and then you have to clean out your garbage can. I’m sad to leave a bad review for a product with a good goal. I suppose if you change your composting bag every day that this is a great product

Bags can hold toilet product for 24 hours, be fairly full, and still be handled by the top for disposal. We have not had a leakage problem. Tried these bags after buying the same brand in a small plastic zip bag because these were less expensive. Turns out they are smaller, but still adequate, even after stretching the top to fit over our camping honey-pot. Love that they are biodegradable.

I was hesitant about the size being too big, but this was a perfect size for a counter-top compost bin and gives extra room to either tie around the bin or pull up to avoid compost items touching the lid. The bags are leak proof when carrying, and are compostable.
