I liked these so much, I bought a second set. Originally grabbed them to hold incense, but I only needed two, so I used the third for spaghetti. Turns out it holds a full pound perfectly. Bucatini fits great too. The seal is solid, just what I’d expect. Haven’t drop-tested them (sorry), but they seem sturdy enough. For the price, I think it’s a good deal. If you’re wondering about size, yes, it holds 1 lb of spaghetti with just a bit of wiggle room at the top. Not much, but enough.

I like using fireplace matches, but the boxes always get crushed or wet or otherwise disintegrate. These make a decent alternative for storing the matches. I even bought some little self-adhesive striking strips and put them on the outside of these containers, so I can easily light 'em up! They keep the matches dry and unbroken. I will update my review if they don't hold up, but so far so good.

I bought these to use as a dispenser for unwrapped small candies. The height and diameter going by the photo is what I was looking for. However, I should have measured. The measurements are correct! But if you visually transfer the 2” width to the height, you should be able to fit almost 6 of them (because it says 12” tall). The measurements are true, but the container in the picture is only 9-10”.

Easy to open and close just screw on, size is good. I did wanted thicker plastic , but it will work.

Item rec’d after 5 days…that wasn’t a big deal even though it was a Prime next day delivery scheduled. Item was “squashed” …all three of them….and split where they were crushed, which would make them no longer airtight for pasta. Yes, because of delivery delay I am being refunded, good thing. And thank you Amazon. Saves me from returning them….I’m just tossing them instead. They are too flimsy and not strong enough to stand up to being handled….they crunched way to easily.

I have to be upfront by saying my niece is rubbing off on me. With her in mind, I decided to purchase some reusable straws for my iced coffee. Of course I only have one cup a day BUT IT'S A BIG CUP!!! I bought 10.5 inch straws and when they arrived, I had no idea how I was going to store them to keep them clean and ready for use. I wasn't satisfied using a gallon ziplock bag and began to search for an alternative. THESE TALL CONTAINERS ARE PERFECT!!!!! They will easily store 20+ straws plus cleaning brush. I LOVE that fact that they are a splendor container. They are large enough for my specific use and they don't take up a lot of counter space. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Hope I made my niece proud. You know, "Old dogs and new tricks" .................
