These came as an XL. They look as if they would work but knowing that I was going to return them I never tried them out.

Pads the butt region decently but its pretty tight fit. Order one size larger than normal so it wont be too tight.

The shorts would probably work but I ordered the XL since that was what the size chart suggested and this item is larger than I would like. So I was going to return the item and order the large but when I tried to return, I had to mail it back and it was going to cost me $4. Only paid $13 for the shorts so will just keep them now.

I'm 6'2 190lbs and XL fit nicely. Not loose but definitely not tight.
