These look great out of the box, which is why it's so disappointing that they are all starting to split down the side less than a month after getting them. 3 of the dolls are split from the top, all the way down to the center of the bottom. If it had been just one, I could understand, but three of the five definitely leans towards poor craftmanship. Purchase at your own risk. Thankfully, Amazon has an excellent return policy.

These Russian nesting dolls were super cute! Unfortunately, they did not actually fit together, and were impossible to force together. The rims on most of the 'dolls' will need to be sanded down.

I had dolls like this as a child. They were decorations I was allowed to play with. I bought the Santa, snowman, penguin, etc. set. I am older and have lost some hand strength, but I was able to get them apart and put them back together, each time it gets easier, by the way. I couldn't believe how cute they were, and once I thought I had them all open, there were 2 more!! I laughed out loud, tho I was home alone. I can't wait for my grandkids to get their hands on them. A nostalgic treat for those who are tired of cartoon character, plastic decorations.

Pieces didn’t fit together. Very disappointed in this item. It was a gift for my sons second birthday and what a bummer to open it and find it didn’t actually nest.

I got these for my friend’s 2 year old because my kids used to have a set that they loved. They were an instant hit! I had to sand a couple places down where they go together because it was too hard to close and one didn’t fit properly, but it only took 10 seconds. Totally worth it. He’s dropped them about 100 times now on the tile and the wood and the concrete floors and they haven’t chipped or broken. Solid product :)

These are perfect for my 2ish year old! She loves the animals and trying to put them back together. She even carries the otter around like a baby. I love the detailed painting as well

This is a very cute gift for any age. The characters' faces are so cute and the set as a whole is a lovely Christmas decoration. Older people could just set them around as decorations and younger (but not too young because of the smallest character) could play with them as toys. Then they all fit inside of each other to store easily

These are so cute. I played with Japanese ones when I was a child. These are very modern so I think my granddaughter will like them. The only problem is the 2nd and 3rd are really really tight A little sandpaper and play i hope will take care of the issue

All fit together good made of solid wood good quality. Note- the fox lines up I didn’t line it up properly before picture

The pieces don’t fit together! Was really excited to get these for my daughter but disappointed that they don’t fit.
