NEWLAKE Cotton Bedspread Quilt Sets-Reversible Patchwork Coverlet Set, Blue Classic Royal Pattern, King Size

We are trying to slowly redo our bedroom and make it look like adults live there, not college frat boys. One of the first things I did was replace our 900 year old comforter. I wanted something that was subtle in coloring and design, but pretty enough to not be boring. This fits the bill quite nicely for those criteria. The colors are a mix of deliberately looking like you have grandmas old quilt on the bed to darker, bolder blues. The mix is wonderful, and between all the shades of blue and the cream coloring in it, it gives one a nice variety of colors to play off of for accessories. The under side is a beautiful quilted style bright, yet dark blue. Folded down when I make the bed, the contrast with the patterned top is quite pretty. The ONLY problem I have with this quilt is the weight. Our bed has the quilt and the normal top sheet underneath (I realize top sheets NOT being used is trendy right now, but I'm old and like my top sheet, lol. ), and in our air conditioned room, it is too light to keep me warm during the night, and I'm a hot sleeper, so that's saying something. I mean, it's nice to not be boiling all the time in bed like I used to be under our old comforter, but I didn't want to trade it for freezing to death. During the colder months, this will DEFINITELY have to be supplemented with a blanket underneath, which is more layers than we usually use. That said, we still love the looks, and yes, as I said, the light weight means no night sweating. If you want to use this as a down to the floor comforter instead of a barely hanging over the edges one, buy a size up. We have a queen bed, but I bought a king so it would hang lower, and that works wonderfully. It goes down nearly to the floor at the footboard area, and covers down to a couple of inches over the box spring on each side. All in all, a definite good buy :-)

I have it on my king size bed and it fits perfect. Love the softness. Beautiful I am thinking of purchasing another one for the spare bedroom

This quilt is as pretty as the photo shows. I wasn't aware that it was not a pieced quilt, only printed but that's probably for the best.

If it weren't for sizing, I'd consider this to be more of a bedspread because of it being such a lightweight covering. That's actually perfect for my needs, though, as I tend to sleep hot.My bed is a Queen, but I purchased a King which fits well - w/ the addition of a dust ruffle. I doubt it'd be large enough to drape prettily over a King.But all in all, this is a really nice item, fairly priced, & I like it. I've already washed it twice, & it did great!I would recommend it.

This is in my purple room and I love it. Bery comfortable and just the right weight.

This set is so pretty in the pictures online but I am disappointed that the blue colors are not bright and pretty. It is otherwise as described; lightweight, good stitching, size is correct for a queen bed. There is imho, too much grey color and the designs on the fabric are just okay. The ample size of the throw quilt is wonderful because I can throw it over me and take a nap or wrap myself in it and watch a movie or read. Washing will be easier and less expensive too. I haven't received the quilt for my queen bed yet so I will update my review after it arrives.Wow, just as I was writing this the Amazon delivery person knocked on my door! Great timing!So, the queen size quilt is here and it does match perfectly with the throw size and the throw pillow covers. All pieces came from different places but I am grateful that they arrived in only 1 - 2 days and they match perfectly. Amazon does make it very easy to return things if needed. I won't be sending them back over my slight disappointment though. The world has changed and so have I.

This is the perfect spread for our bedroom. It matches the lavender theme we have going on in the room. I love the light weight cotton feel especially for Florida summers.

Love this. It’s stunning. I am not a quilt person. The term reminds me of lovely grammas on a farm. I’m not a gramma but hope to have a farm so I purchased. The colors are so pretty and modern quilt if there if there is such a thing. And the blanket itself is soft and warm enough for (non farm but hopeful to relocate ) California nights. Just in case we have a fold down comforter. Matches our blue and silver bedroom but you can easily thread other colors in. The shams are a pleasant extra too. I didn’t even notice they came with that. Best Amazon purchase in a while.

The blues in this quilt are really lovely, even though this quilt is in a white bedroom with white sheers, gray upholstered bed and gray night tables it adds a peaceful clean look to the room - not common with blues. And, in the pattern , there is an occasional pale teal blue/green pattern so I've added a beautiful teal pleated cushion to the blue and white cushions at the head of the bed. Could not be happier with his purchase.

Beautiful bedspread. Love it! It’s not as bright blue as it appears on my smartphone. It’s more like a denim colour.
