Women's Hooded Packable Ultra Light Weight Short Down Jacket

I bought this jacket strictly for travel. I’m much more impressed than I thought I would be. I’m a size 18 and 5’7” tall. The 2x fit me perfect. I’m writing this review because there are not enough plus size ones. I just got it today so I can’t speak about the quality but I was very happy with the fit.

I actually ordered two of these coats... The first one I ordered was a Large, because even though I'm a solid Medium in most other clothes, I wanted the coat to fit comfortably over sweatshirts and sweaters, and I don't like winter clothes to be snug. But it actually seemed TOO big, so I ordered a second coat (a Medium) without returning the first one so I could compare. The Medium turned out to the best fit, and I donated the Large to a Project Warm Us drop site. I didn't find any of the negative comments to be true -- the coat didn't have any smell at all, it doesn't look cheap in any way, and I didn't find the sleeves to be too short, even for a Medium. I LOVE the coat, and so do others apparently, because I started getting compliments the first night I wore it. I wish I would have had this on my Europe trip last year, because it's so lightweight, but keeps me so surprisingly warm (tested so far in 40-something degree temps). It's absolutely perfect for what I wanted -- something warmer than a windbreaker but just as sporty, and lighter than a bulky/heavy winter coat. I'm really happy with this quality product that is exactly what the supplier advertises it to be, and I would absolutely recommend it for others. I'm 5'5 and 130 lbs; the Medium fit perfectly.

LOVE IT! This jacket is perfect if you're a cold person like me who loves to be warm, but not overly bundle up to the point where you can't move! I think it will be great for prewinter, like right before the harsh winter cold starts, And a great addition to wear inside if it's extra cold and then another coat on top. It's amazingly thin, yet warm!! It feels like feather when you're holding it. And it's very true to size, Just ordered a medium though I'm a small in American size, just bc i don't like tight fitting clothes. I am grateful for this buy!

Great color, very lightweight and the sleeves fit perfectly (though I'm only 5'1"), but the jacket itself looked like it should be for a teen or junior, not for a woman. If you're going by the size chart, you might want to order at least 1-2 sizes larger if you're going to buy one. (Especially if you're a woman with more than a DD cup...just in case.)

This jacket is awesome!!! I can't believe I was going to buy one similar for $200. I wore it hiking in 50 degree weather and I was burning up. Not because of the activity but because this jacket makes you so warm! I was so surprised at how well this jacket keeps me warm. The navy does have a purple tint to it, but one could tell that it's a navy jacket.

I love this jacket. I was looking for a jacket just like this and when I read the reviews I decided to purchase it. I’m so glad I did. It is very warm yet light weight. I live in the south and it’s currently 20 degrees and this jacket is warm. I’m 5’3” and 130 lbs. I ordered a medium and it has plenty of room for me to wear a thick shirt with the jacket. If you want something more fitted and you’re around my height and weight you may want to go down a size. I like my jackets a little bigger and not so fitted. Great jacket for the money.

The wantdo jacket sleeves were very long; I bough a medium size and the sleeves seemed large size. If you see the picture that show the model you can see the disproportion.

After reading all the reviews I bought this coat because I wanted two things - a coat that was warm, but not heavy or bulky. When I pulled this out of my mailbox I thought there had to be some mistake as it was folded up small enough to fit in a small mail locker. This is extremely light weight! Others have mentioned the material is cheap, but really, I didn't think so, it is just very thin and light weight. But let me tell you, this is so warm and so comfortable and SO light weight (did I mention how lightweight it is?). I got a Large, though I am a size Medium (8-10) and it is quite fitted, I would not be able to wear many layers or a thick sweater under this. But it is so warm, I don't know that I would need too. I live in Southern Utah where it does not get much below freezing so I will have to test this out in colder, snowy climate, but it is perfect for what I need. My only reason for not giving a complete 5 stars is that the picture is misleading a bit. I am a curvy girl and have a small waist with larger hips (size 12 on bottoms). The picture made me believe that this would be a good form fitting coat as it hits below the hips. But, it is much more a straight cut. It is pretty tight around my hips and though I can zip it up, it is a tight squeeze. I still love it and will wear it, but will probably only zip it up if I'm freezing cold, or when I lose 10 more pounds.

I just got this today... i read alot of review's before buying it. and for most of the review's it said to "order bigger". so i did. being a medium i ordered a large. i am swimming in it... i love the jacket and i am ordering a size down because i am impressed at the material.. But i am sad i didnt order my normal size. (from Canada)

Beautiful jacket! Just what I wanted. Medium fits perfect - 5'2", 130 lbs.Nice lightweight, warm for the in between Fall weather! EXCEPT - don'torder Navy, comes in as purple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Its an o.k. purple so I will keep it. Don't want to bother with returns andre-order. Please watch your colors and send as shown, and ordered!!!!!!!Thank you

Great coat! Warm enough for glacier hikes and light enough for spring weather! Also great for packing small for long trips 😊 one thing I wish is that it was a bit longer on the back

Really nice jacket. I bought it late in the season so cannot review it’s warmth yet. The fit is a ‘tailored’ sort of fit ... that is, I ordered the correct size and it fits well but is not baggy so if you like it loose or plan to wear bulky sweater under it, you may want to order a size up. They material is thin, but I think it’s meant to be (to keep weight down & allow greater ‘packability’). Also, there is a shiny quality to the material. Not a bad thing in my opinion but it may not appeal to everyone.Once I know how warm it is, I’d definitely consider getting a second jacket in a different colour.

I ordered medium but small would have done - I am sometimes between sizes but could have gone to the small.There is not much to this jacket as previous reviewers have said - it is VERY light with VERY thin down - too thin (I really don't know what is the point of a down jacket being this thin - as you wouldn't even need a down jacket for the conditions you would wear this jacket in). It just seemed like puffed up plastic. The elastic around the bottom and wrists and hood is a positive. The sapphire blue was nice but too shiny for me.I returned it as I didn't feel it was substantial enough and it really doesn't feel like a quality coat. Also, it was too wide - not shapely like in the picture.
