After dropping my previous iPhone one too many times, I decided to invest in serious protection, and the i-Blason Ares case has been absolutely perfect for my iPhone 12 Pro. This case strikes the ideal balance between rugged protection and everyday usability. I've already dropped my phone several times on concrete and tile floors with zero damage. The raised edges around both the screen and camera bump provide excellent protection without interfering with wireless charging or camera quality. What impressed me most is how this case maintains full functionality while offering military-grade protection. All ports, buttons, and speakers remain easily accessible, and the tactile feedback on the volume and power buttons feels just like the original phone. The precise cutouts mean I never struggle to plug in cables or access features. The built-in screen protector is a game-changer. Unlike separate screen protectors that bubble or peel, this integrated protection stays perfectly aligned and maintains crystal-clear touch sensitivity. Face ID and front camera work flawlessly through the clear front panel. Despite the heavy-duty protection, the case doesn't add excessive bulk to my phone. It still fits comfortably in my pocket and car mount, which was a major concern with other rugged cases I considered. The textured back provides excellent grip, reducing the likelihood of drops in the first place. For me, built-in screen protector is a deal breaker. This case completely covers the phone. Light, no bulk, fits in pocket. Previous “heavy duty military” metal interfered w/reception. This rubber case at 1/2 the price-weight-bulk offers all the same. Touch screen works great & camera has a raised edge to help protect it. (I always have an extra screen protector over cams on the back). My previous (heavy) duty military grade w/built in cover looked hard core and still cracked. No cover is fool proof. So far, this cover is better than expected. All depends on how it lands when dropped. H2O proof? Haven’t had water events yet but since it won’t swim back to you… I imagine it depends how fast you retrieve it. Prob buy a diff color when it goes on sale. Thumbs up.

I've been using this case for about a year, just never got around to writing a review for it. Best case I've ever used for an iPhone in this price range. Both the front and back of the phone are protected. It offers some protection if you drop your phone from a normal distance like holding it in your hand and it slips and hits the floor. I wouldn't take it to the top of a building and let it fall..lol I've seen a couple of reviews complaining that the case would not handle a 20ft drop. To be honest, if you're going to be in a situation where your phone could possibly drop 20 ft, you should take more responsibility and not depend on an 18 dollar case to save your phone. You need to spend more money on a case if you're that irresponsible with your thousand dollar phone. This is a great case for normal, every day use. Also, the case is not difficult to remove if you know what you're doing. I've removed the phone from the case several times for regular cleaning. With the front of the phone facing you, pull down on the left corner of the back of the case. It will pop apart allowing you to safely remove the phone. There are plenty of videos on YT that show you how to remove any case, the same rule applies to just about every standard case on the market. And, the more you remove it for cleaning the protective front screen, it will get easier every time to separate the two pieces. Some people don't even do this extra step for cleaning their screen. It's not necessary but I just prefer cleaning it this way.

Unlike most people I actually prefer a bulkier cover, I was used to the Otter Box, because I drop my phone ALL THE TIME. I wanted a screen cover that wasn't a film so this fit the bill. It fit perfectly the screen cover was exactly what I wanted, it went on easily. And was slim. I think it will hold up well even to me.

Using this case for a new 12pro. The case is easy to install and the blue highlights look nice. The part covering the screen lays snug to the screen so touch works well. The bumper on the edge of the phone is very shockproof. I’ve inexplicably dropped this phone a lot more than usual lately. Tested a couple cases and like the bounce protection on this a lot. The little door for the lightning charging port is annoying. It is hard to get out of the way for inserting charging cable. Overall a great and affordable case.

I just want whoever is stopping by to see if this case is worth it to know that it is. I dropped my phone on the ground today. I don’t have any extra screen protector or anything other than this case and it fell straight onto concrete and rolled under my car. Not a scratch on the case or damage done to the phone. So if you’re looking for a case. Look no further. If I had to give some negative marks it would be for the covers over the charge area and the toggle for the sound. They are hard to keep open because they are tough and not stretchy. They want to bounce back to where they were so I need two hands to keep them open. But I guess that’s a good thing in a way too. Keeps it extra protected. So pro and con there. Otherwise. Buy this case please if you’re second guessing, don’t.

Other cases I've used have a rubber case that is only on the back and sides. You have to put a clear film on the screen to protect it. The i-Blason case has a clear protective plastic on the back with the strong bumpers on the sides. It also has a second case for the front that fits into the back part of the case that looks like it will protect the screen better than a thin film. I thought it was too thick and would interfere with the touch screen but I see no difference with or without the front case in being able to access all functions of the touch screen. So I am very happy with the case and I love the color, purple, too.

I bought this case right when the iPhone 12 came out, so there wasn't much to choose from. The colour and faceplate were the reasons why I bought it. I wish the case had an option to come without the screen protector, but an exacto knife and 15 minutes later and I was able to remove it. The back of the case is the same kind of screen protector, but I opted not to cut it out. MagSafe should work just fine through the thin sheet of plastic. The back of the phone has a raised edge so the camera doesn't contact the table. Buttons are clicky and work great. I wish though that the charging port and silent switch weren't perpetually covered by a flap, but that's something I can live with since I use wireless charging most of the time anyway. I also wish the back camera area hugged the frosted glass a little more, but that's just a nitpick.

This is my second case from i-Blason (I have previously bought a case for an LG phone) and the product is exceptionally well-designed and durable! Compared to the $59.99+ apple-branded cases with the useless built-in "magsafe" feature, this case is definitely worth way more than what it costs! Highly recommended and will definitely buy from them again in future

I love this case, I bought it for my iPhone 12. I even recommended it to my brother and he bought one too! It's durable and well made for the price (considering Otterboxes are $80+) and it protects my phone just as good. It does get dust and debris inside the case after a few weeks but that is to be expected with any case. I even dropped my phone in the toilet (empty thank God) and the charging port's cover prevented water from getting into it! I like that the boarder around the lens is raise just slightly to protect the cameras. I'll be recommending this to everybody!
