I really needed a larger desk for my office, so I got this one. It was wider and longer, but still fit my space perfectly. It was incredibly easy to assemble, and it comes with all the necessary tools. It has the drop down keyboard holder that I love, as it gives me more room on my desk for my large drawing tablet, and two monitors. It was also packaged insanely well, I don't think amazon could have broken it even if they tried.The only "downside" is that it's really heavy in the box. It took two people carrying it up my stairs, but after that, it's not too heavy you can't move the pieces by themselves. I'd recommend assembling it where you want to put it.Worth the money for a solid wood desk! It looks awesome!

This was super easy to assemble which was great! Really good quality which was surprising and very sturdy. For the price point it was fantastic! I only returned the item because the color just wasn't what we were expecting. But honestly, it was lovely. Perfect for a home office. Very farmhouse looking which I loved!!

We bought two of these in dark chestnut brown . It's a very dark chestnut brown, I really like that. I was looking for something sturdy that looked nice for an incredibly inexpensive price tag. My husband also had to have solid wood. The desk is solid something but it does have a thin laminate over it which is why it scratches. I nicked one but was able to take a black marker, touch the nick and wipe it away and you would never know it was there. This is not a piece you are going to hand down through generations but it is sturdy, looks great and is easy to put together. Oh, and other people commented on the keyboard tray - I agree, it barely fits a standard keyboard and mouse. My chair doesn't adjust so I put the keyboard in the tray and the mouse on the desk. It works fine until I find an adjustable chair I like.

I first saw this item in a Home Depot catalog mailer. I was looking to replace a very large desk that consumed the small room it was in. This looked like it would fit my needs and I especially liked the fact it was very open. I checked several websites looking at prices and reviews. Overall reviews were very good and Amazon had the best price so the order was placed. When the item arrived the carton had some re-tape done on one of the corners and there was a tear in the side of the carton. I opened the carton that day and this thing was packed extremely well. No damage of any sort and the instructions make it easy to confirm all the parts. The parts are clearly marked as well as the hardware in individual plastic packs. They even give you a packet of extra parts. Putting the desk together is easy and the directions are very clear. Holes were drilled accurately and all went together smoothly. I use this as a computer desk and was concerned about wire clutter with the open back. I ended up using 3M Command plastic clips along the back and down the leg to trail the wires. No clutter. Some of the other reviews reference this being pine and a softer wood but I will use a desk pad if needed and not treat it as a workbench. Very pleased with the purchase. See photo.

This desk is awesome. It is a nice width and holds my two 32" screens easily. It has enough space for all of the other crap I accumulate during the day as well. I love the color. it looks grey/green and the bonus on this is the pull out keyboard tray. The desk was easy to put together and is sturdy. I searched for awhile and am totally happy that I spent the extra money for wood and not a pressed fabrication.

I dislike anything I have to assemble but this wasn't bad at all...even for me. Directions were well thought out and everything is labeled and numbered. There is even extra hardware. It was packaged very well. I chose the weathered grey finish because it was the cheapest and I have to say I really do like it. Dimensions are spot on. The only issue with mine is the drawer which you have to really pull at first then it's smooth to come out the rest of the way...but then when you close it you have to really push for it to close all the way. I don't expect I'll be using the drawer daily so I can live with that. Great quality and lightweight but not in a bad way. You can easily move to vacuum under and I LOVE that.

Summary: Beautiful desk made from soft wood that scratches way too easily. Also, keyboard tray interferes with arms from desk chair if you are tall.I bought this desk because I needed a larger work desk. I really like the color of it and the size of it is decent. It comes in this huge box and I was very excited because I thought it was the size of the box but it wasn't, it was just well padded. Based on the size, I'm not sure what the "small desk" would be but if it was just that, this desk would get four stars. It comes with extra hardware so +1 star for that! It was easy to put together and overall looks very nice. Now for the problems. The desk scratches extremely easily. I was folding a piece of paper with my thumb nail over the crease and I went slightly past the edge of the page only to put a large gouge into the desk. I'm a guy and my nails are short, so yeah... bad -1 star. I wish it came with a touch up pen. Also, the height of it is not very tall. Yes, I know they provide measurements, but then there's the real practical world. I'm 6'1 and have a normal size desk chair, just all the way up. The arm rests interfere with the keyboard tray. It's a battle to what you need, either to see the keyboard and sit further back or sit comfortably and type under the desk -1 star. It's barely wide enough for a keyboard and mouse combined but it does fit.
