ABUS20/70 KA Diskus Padlock, Extreme High Security Disk Lock, Keyed Alike (KA)

Checked them all and they all seem to work well. You get two keys with each lock, so in my case I now have 8 keys because I ordered the 4 pack.

4-8-2024 Update:My trailer was targeted again! Same trailer. Different lock. This time they tried cutting the lock (see photos #3 and #4) and then gave up and ended up cutting the latch instead. Great lock! I need to find a better spot to park my trailer apparently lol.———Original 2020 review:Bought these locks about 6 months ago for my enclosed trailer, like others, after taking LPL suggestion.Someone tried to break into my trailer - I had one of these on each door. They tried twice to cut the lock twice( you can see hacksaw marks in the picture). They couldn’t.Then they tried jamming something in there and it snapped and gummed it all up. It “broke” in the locked position, and I had to have a locksmith cut it off because I could no longer get the key in.Locksmith cut it off with an angle grinder. He used three batteries before he got through it. Was also surprised to find another shield inside once it was open. Literally took him 30 minutes with a grinder get the lock off.For my money - this lock is awesome. I didn’t love that it cost $50, but I had much more expensive stuff on the inside of the trailer and this lock did it’s job. Wish it didn’t “break” but as you can see it was already cut, so...10/10 would recommend and will buy again. Good lock.Also on the pictures and rust: I live right by the ocean and this is constantly being hit with salt water. Only rust after 6 months was where it was cut.

Works good and I feel secure with it. I would recommend them and would buy them again if needed.

I lived on a block with a lot of break-ins and theft. I had this on our trailer for a week and it had dings but was so solid it remained in tact. If you’re in a pinch for security stay far away from master lock .

Abus makes great locks and I really like these locks. The only problem is that they arrived keyed differently when I ordered them as keyed alike. This is very likely an Amazon picking problem and not a problem with the locks. I called in and spoke to an Amazon rep who sent out replacements but the new locks again arrived as keyed differently. I like the locks but dislike the process of ordering and receiving something different than how it was listed.

Watch the episode where LPL tries to open this lock. This is the lock that took him by far the most time. I think this is the best you can find as far as discus locks are. Of course it costs a premium, but if you value your stuff this is great. Even someone with an angle grinder would have to work hard to open this.
