Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Weekly Intense Conditioning Treatment 2 ea(Pack of 2)

So I was desperately searching for a product to tame my natural grey hair as I’m allowing it to come in and this is it! I’ve only used 3 treatments so far but I see a huge difference! My husband thought my darker hair was noticed over the greys once I used this because the greys laid flat! I paired this product with a boar Brush too! Highly recommend. But it’s gotta be continually used it’s not a healer it’s a product that helps!

I definitely have reodered and will do so again.

I have long straight hair, and like many of you stuck at home during COVID-19, have not been able to get to a salon to have my ends trimmed. I remember this product being all the rage in the 70's and 80's for increasing hair softness and decreasing breakage and frizz, so I decided to give it a try.I heated it up in a cup of hot water, tore the end off, and proceeded to try to distribute it throughout my damp hair while in the shower. I discovered it doesn't distribute very easily so I ended up putting a few drops in and trying to pull it towards my ends, repeating until the bottle was empty. I guess this was the most effective way, but it really didn't feel like I was distributing it through my hair to maximize the effects of the product.I kept it in my hair for about a minute then rinsed out and shampooed & conditioned as normally. As my hair air dried, I definitely noticed an increase in softness, but almost no reduction in frizz and flyaways. I did notice that my ends don't seem to be as dry and poofy as they were, and I hope this effect lasts.

Just as described, and the boxes were packaged nicely together in a sealed bag. Will buy again in the future.

As always this is a great product for thin hair, it used to be very affordable in Canada before, I'm happy I can still buy it at Amazon.

I have been using this product for many years and it is the best on the market for fine dry hair.
