An Otis Christmas Board book – October 11, 2016

This is my four year old grandson's favorite book. He loves the Otis books, but this Christmas one is the one he will choose for me to read to him over and over again. Well written, great story with bravery, devotion and kindness as it's main themes and wonderfully illustrated.

Another fabulous Otis book, I just can't get enough of them. I adore the sweet and courageous tractor who is willing to do anything for his friends. When Otis's friend, the mare struggles to give birth, he sets out for the doctor despite a furious snowstorm. With the help of his shiny new horn, Otis once again manages to save the day in a satisfying way. I have to say though that while I love the story, it's the illustrations that win the day. They are so rich in feeling and color and detail. A wonderful story about friendship and sacrifice great for sharing!

Otis books are so sweet, and this one does not disappoint. Great story, beautiful pictures, high quality hardcover book. Definitely worth adding to your Christmas book collection or a great gift for the kiddos in your life

We love Otis! This is the 3rd book we are adding to our collection - the kids really enjoy the stories and the meanings behind them... everyone should strive to be more like this little tractor. As a parent, I appreciate the beautiful illustrations, vocabulary & syntax the author uses. We highly recommend any Otis story to young & old!

I have been collecting children’s books for awhile now, and out of my library full of treasures, these Otis books always come to mind when I’m buying gift books for others. I bought this book for all the children we know this Christmas. Otis always models selflessness and kindness and friendship. LOVELY.

We got our son Otis a year and a half ago when he was 2.5 years old. Now, at almost four years old, he still loves that book. When we saw An Otis Christmas this past November, we knew it would be a great Christmas present. Our son loves it and it has been in the regular rotation for bedtime stories since he received it.We love the hardback version of this book. It looks so nice and will be one of the books that will be passed down through the family.

My daughter and I discover "Otis" by Loren Long a couple of years ago at the library. We loved it so much we bought a copy. We have read it several times. When I saw "An Otis Christmas" was coming out a I pre-ordered the book. It arrived this morning. It is a gift, but I couldn't wait to read the book. An Otis Christmas is a wonderful story with a great message, and the illustrations are beautiful too! I can't wait to read it to my children this Christmas.

The original Otis book is just amazing. My daughter loves Otis so much that I decided to see if there was a Christmas story. I love this book but I am not sure I will share this with my daughter this Christmas. She is only 2 and I feel the subject matter of this story with the horse almost dying is a bit much for her at this time. It's a great book for future reading some day.
