These 'add-on' Smart Plugs are great, over all they have saved us a significant amount of money as they are programmable. It means things like the TV etc. and all those devices that are on 'Standby' can be switched off overnight automatically.And they do draw current, but less than most devices you are switching off and on!!It's a thumbs up from me for these.

First time i have bought this smart plug since my normal go to option was out of stock. The on|off switch is on the bottom of the unit (facing the floor). This is a bad design. To verify pairing mode, i had to lie on the floor to verify the switch was flashing (this should be a one off activity)! Unit did not pair automatically with Smart Life app, and i had to set up manually per instructions supplied. Once that was done, works fine and Alexa picked up once i had successfully paired

Have had these for a while and bought these ones for my daughters new flat.Easy to install and integrate with app that allows on/off programming.Set up rooms/zones and individual names and integrate with Alexa commands

Funky neat sockets only thing bugs me one in for constantly loosing network in a few day period what is a bit annoyingUpdate: the plug what kept loosing the network connection today morning made a quite spectacular literally sparking light show. The other 3 plugs works flawless but considering 75% pass rate as one from 4 pack got faulty in one week including that waaaaaaaay below nominal power output ( usin on mere 30W) to switch on, not sure if its my bad luck or not but as a " sparksman " i say its pretty much a high fire hazard!Plus: in a range of 2 months 3 died from four....update: after 4 months all 4 died all in a same kind of beautiful manner of sparks and hisses including as improvised smoke machine so yeah under barely any load i mean 16W load so far below nominal load waste of money!

Works with the Tuya app and integrates easy with Alexa. Was unable to setup with the auto configure but the manual setup is relatively straight forward.

One of these failed inside 3 months and was potentially dangerous. The Alexa command was not working even though it saw the product online and neither was the manual button on/off. More concerning however was the flashing/arc'ing coming from inside the plug when attempting to press the manual on/off. Have unplugged as consider it unsafe.

While these were Ok during testing, within months one was failing to connect to our WiFi network.Sometimes it can be recovered, once it gets into a No WiFi state, by unplugging it (and thus the device it was powering) but it can go for days without making a WiFi connection, even though another one a few inches away is able to connect to WiFi just fine.Bought as a multi pack, there's no way to return or get a refund on just one of the three switches, our option was to either send all three back or bin the faulty one and accept that the other two cost more. Suffice it to say we will be trying another brank for the replacement.
