Survival on paper is simple, in real life not so easy. These are perfect for real life needs! They are carb heavy, but also have adequate proteins for short term needs energy bumping to get you too your next step and real food! I have personally tested these solely for periods of one and two weeks only eating these and drinking water...yes I lost weight NO I did not have issues physically blood work taken within a week of the two week test had no issues! Everything was within normals...Obviously these are NOT for long term consumption in place of a balanced diet...however, if you need a lightweight easy to have no prep needed meal replacement for up too a week or even 2...these fit the bill exactly - I have them in my families 3day and get home bags. As well as in car kits (72 hrs for one person) shelf life in a decent environment is also amazing!Packaging is perfect, strong and really solid.Highly recommend!

I know these are supposed to be for survival, but every time I open one while sitting in front of the tv... I can't put them down until they're gone ! They ARE the bomb... they EXPLODE with flavor and goodness !!! I'll keep buying them.

Overall these things seem like a good idea. You get 5 bags in this 10 day supply. Each bag contains 24 Little square tablets. Enough for two days rations. I think it would have been better if they were larger bars separated for each meal instead of little squares. But it will do the job either way. Not sure about the taste or the effectiveness of the product. I won't know that until I need it. I wish they were organic and not just GMO free. But in an emergency non GMO is better then nothing.Only complaints I have is the price seems a little steep but they do last 25 years. Also I tried squeezing one of them through the bag and they seem very hard. The ones I received on July 17th 2019 say they expire May 2043. I purchase these so I do not have to carry so much during disasters or evacuations and I won't have to worry about changing out my supply every six months or so.

Haven’t tried them yet but good to know I can carry 5 days of nourishment in my go bag and not have to worry about it for 25 years. That’s what I’m talking about! Love the convenience of having nourishment and not all the extra weight.

Did a good job of staving off hunger. Didn't feel low on energy and never got jittery.

Meh. Tastes like your eating powdered milk tablets. Better than nothing in a pinch.
