Nice Cutters
I've used these to cut about half a dozen 1/0 and 4 AWG marine tin coated copper cables. They cut through the cables without much effort and leave a nice, smooth cut. They're comfortable in my hand. They seem to be well made and I suspect they'll last a while. I almost got a cheaper pair from Fright Harbor, but those had questionable reviews. This Klein pair only cost a bit more and it seems like the little extra was money well spent.

Hard to cut big wires
Bought this to cut these 2/0 aluminum service wires in an apartment complex and the item description says it’ll cut up to 4/0 aluminum. It does work. It has been cutting these 2/0 aluminum wires, but it has been an absolute bear to squeeze it hard enough with these thinner smaller handles. (This is the 10” pair)It probably works fantastic for smaller wires, but so do my lineman’s pliers.

Cuts through cables like butter
In 35 years of DYI electrical work, I have never owned a bad tool from Klein. They may be a little more expensive, but I still have the original tools I purchased decades ago. They work as advertised. No BS, no gimmicks, they just work.

Great Marine Grade Tinned Cable Cutter
These are handy for cutting 6 gauge and smaller tinned marine wire. I've tried not to abuse these and they are still cutting cables neatly with a nice crisp edge left over. There is no "tearing" when these cut the smaller gauge which produces a much easier to crimp assembly.

Cuts wire with ease
Gave the cable cutters a quick sharpen with a diamond sharpening stone to touch up the edge before use. Cut a AWG 10/ 3 underground cable with ease. Also cut some 6 AWG wires like nothing at all. I should have got these cutters years ago for cutting electrical wires rather than fighting with pliers.Cutters are good quality, and the joint is nice and tight with no play.Highly recommend these.

Comparision review- enjoy.
Left is the product i bought and right is the product that stands out. Trialed both with 16mm2 and 50mm2 earth stranded. The knipex 160 shears were actually better than the long leverage klien. I find that shocking as they were double the price of the 160s. The handle is comfy but youll end up clashing ur knuckles together when chopping. Only just cut 50mm with these. Id recommend for cable under 50mm the knipex 160s in the pic. Anything over 50mm2 cable- the knipex long leverage 500mm shears. Or a good pair of ratchet cutters. Ill trial further but i think ill be returning these for better items for cheaper. Do not buy

Extrem scharf, glatter Schnitt
