I rented this book for a Money Management class at my University. I wish now that I had purchased it instead! This book has a LOT of essential information. It covers: Learning how to budget, Learning what the stock market is; How to purchase a house and a car; What you need to know to plan for retirement; What, How, & Where to learn about Investing; and many more topics.Every person over the age of 16 should read this book and take a class with it. Even as an adult, I learned a lot of new information! This book has a wealth of information!

Overall, the "big picture" information in this book is stated clearly. However, starting on page 1 (!), there are typos on almost every single page, mostly in the features boxes. There are graphs with mislabeled information, formulas with errors, and just regular old garbled sentences. For a textbook, this is absurd, and makes me question the accuracy of everything else in the book. So if you need this for class, good luck. Hopefully all the errors will be addressed in the newest edition.

Had this for class, not the best learning wise. Felt like it could have been more informational and more details. Text and terminology needed more in depth explanations.

Lots of writing in rental copy very distracting

I purchased this book for class and was able to use it on multiple devices. I could also highlight in various colors, bookmark, and open the book from other devices and it would be on the page I left it on. I will absolutely be open to purchasing a book through Amazon again.

I bought this in new condition. Was happy with the purchase. It arrived later than the start of class though. Kinda angered me.
