I use a heated eye mask nightly for MGD. (My tear ducts become clogged with oil which needs to be heated to promote normal eye function.)I have used the mask for about a week and I have to say I'm impressed. This is the 3rd or 4th mask I tried in less than a year.So far, this has been one of the better ones. I like that the attachment cord is magnetic which makes it easy to attach if you are looking. The type of heat the mask gives off is different too. It feels more like a slow, soft warm rather than an inferno. I was worried it wouldn't work because of how the heat felt but so far, so good! I know it works because without daily eye warming, I get migraines.I also like the material. Other masks that claim to have soft silk-like material are scratchy but not this one.Its also thicker and larger than a typical mask. The additional thickness and soft non scratchy material makes it feel like a light, warm pillow is on my face. I appreciate the larger size as well since I also use the mask for sleeping. Its definitely better than other masks at blocking out light due to the bigger size.Other facts:-has an auto timer for 1 hour-has 3 different heat settings that are color codedI think this is a good mask. I hope this review helps with your decision!

Works great - except for a too short cord.
I use this at the highest setting and it's the perfect temperature. Very soft and cozy - I often nod off while wearing it. Seems to be helping with my dry eyes too.Only complaint: cord is way too short (46") - I use it in my lounge chair and need an extension cord. So unless you have an outlet next to your head, chances are you will need an extension cord too!

LOVE IT
I bought this because I suffer from extreme dry eyes, having to wake up several times during the night to use eyedrops. My eye doctor thinks I possibly do not close my eyes completely while sleeping and recommended a heated mask to help release my natural oils in my eyes. I used the heated function for the first week or so. But found that just by wearing the mask my own body heat seems to heat up against the mask and it keeps my eyes very moisturized during the night. Having the mask on also helps my eyes close completely. It is SO comfortable, and completely blocks out all of the light, so it is extra nice when my husband is up early with the lights on. Someone mentioned that they were frustrated the cord attached to the right when they slept on the left side of the bed. I have accidentally worn it inside out (which makes the cord attach in the left side) and I didn’t even notice. So if this is your issue, just wear it inside out.

Comfortable,soothing,and prevents styes
This is my second heated mask. I wear it nightly. Very soft and comfortable. I haven’t developed any styes since I started using it!

Not doing much for my dry eyes.
Warmth feels good but I haven’t noticed any difference with my dry eyes issues.

Not What You Think
I purchased this product after trying a different brand. The other company actually sent me a new one to replace the original defective one, however, the second one did not last long either, a total of 11 mths for both eye mask. This one isn't much better. I purchased it on Amazon, on December 17, 2020. The cord is a joke. It is way too short to use unless you are right next to the electrical outlet. I use this mask on my bed before retiring for the night and I have to lay right on the edge in order for the cord to reach the electrical outlet. If I happen to move, I would fall off the bed, which is not good for a 70+ lady. Also, the mask itself is way to big for a small person. The heating element is way to high on the mask, therefore, you have to pull it way down OVER your nostlils in order for you to feel the heat, which doesn't get very hot, anyway, and therefore, is very hard to breath when you nose is being squished down. I would not purchase this item again. The controls are a joke. You have no way of knowing how long to set it as there is not a timer included on the controls. Yes, you have low, medium, and high, but that is all the controls there are. Anyone out there have a suggestion for a reasonably priced one that ACTUALLY works.

This is something that is missing in your life and you won't fully understand until you get one.
I have owned face masks before and primarily used them to allow me to take a nap here and there to shut out light. I got this mask thinking it would be much the same and thought the heat was a "cute" feature and could also help with eye strain headaches. I can say that now I use the mask almost every night and the heat over the eyes not only helps with eye strain headaches but also helps me fall asleep. It is an absolutely amazing feeling. I also got another one for my wife after making this discovery and she is in complete agreement.I don't know if this specific heated face mask is the best possible option out there. I know for certain there are better face masks out there for blocking light for example. This one is less flexible but I assume it is required for the heat function but results in more light getting through around the edges of the mask. But the mask feels amazing and is used far more than any other mask I have purchased in the past.

I love this heating mask!
My ophthalmologist told me to put a heating pad on low heat over my eyes for 15 minutes a day. I ordered a flexible heating pad but it was not very close to my eyes as my nose sort of held it further out even when I folded it over and my whole face got uncomfortably hot. I put the name of the issue she told me I had in the Amazon search bar and this popped up. I ordered it and used it on low. Half way through my first 15 minutes I realized that it was made just for eyes and I turned it up to high. It is quite comfortable and much more effective than the bulky heating pad was. Best part yet, it is totally resolving the issue. I am going to take a picture of it and take it to me when I go back to the ophthalmologist so that she can show it to her other patients as a choice.

DO NOT BUY!
The mask is advertised as 100% silk, and it is not, it is 100% POLYESTER! Do not buy, it's a scam.
