RAMAJEYAM Premium Rice Ramarajyam Orange - Raw Sonamasuri rice (10 KG)

The raw rice is of good quality. But....Raw rice should be atleast a year old. Only a year old rice will cook well without becoming very soft. But the rice I got seems to be only 6 months old. So it's very difficult to cook. If the rice cooks to too much softness, then any curry going along with it won't taste good.

It is thick rice tasteless and not worth even 70,,,,% of vale for money paid.

It becomes a paste once cooked. It does not take sufficient water for the quality of rice vis a vis the premium price paid.

I always buy Ramarajyam ponni raw rice, boiled rice it was excellent but this time the ponni raw rice quality was very poor and the weight was lesser than 5 kgs.

product is very good. price slightly higher and over by Rs. 20/- around. and packing needs improvement for Amazon transits. Courier boys are mercy less with small but heavier parcels thats why.

Though the price of the rice was very high, Rs.100+ per kg, the product was of poor quality, it was a new rice having lot of starch content and unfit for cooking. Generally in market we get such rice for less than Rs.45 per kg.

One would expect a half decent rice when buying something for over 100 bucks a kg. But unfortunately this rice was new(not mentioned anywhere ) except on the bag. It resulted in one of the worst eating experience for this costPls avoid like a plague
