Wet Dog Food, 98% Chicken & Liver, case of 12, 13 oz cans

Not alot of fillers

Puppers was recently diagnosed with renal failure stage 2. After processing the diagnosis, we were very aggressive about changing her diet. She is now eating raw. This product helps with getting in her protein and I'm not playing a guessing game about how weight and if it's "safe" meat or not. Puppers can't wait to eat now!

My dog likes this food very much and it doesn't make his stomach ache. But be careful when you pull the tab on the can. The top of the can is a little bit swollen I noticed. But when I went to pull the tab to open the can, the food popped out like the can was too full and was under pressure. I had dog food all over my hands and kitchen counter. I looked at the cans left in the case and they all had a little bump on top. I opened a second can and it did the same thing. I was a bit hesitant to give my dog the food but the food did look okay and did not have a funny smell to it. I gave my dog about half of what was left in the can and he seemed to be okay. The manufacturer either needs to put the dog food in a larger can or cut down on the amount that goes into the can. These cans are also shorter than the standard dog food cans. My dog likes it but I don't like opening the cans as it does make a mess so now I open them in the sink.

My dog has IBD and eats the gamebird recipe . He is doing absolutely great in this food. Sadly, Amazon had this advertised in a misleading way (unit per can was decreased which didn’t add up the total price ). After my complain they changed but still feels they should not be allowed to do that without penalties.

Originally bought a case at my local Costco. It had a good aroma and a texture like paté. My dog loved it. When I opened a can from this case, there was very little aroma. The consistency was like a very soupy chilli. More importantly, my dog refuses to eat it. So, donated the rest of the case to my local shelter and bought something else at my local pet store.

My dog has to cut back on calories, so I mix one can of this food with one can of salt-free green beans. She loves it and the diet plan seems to be working.

I bought it and gave it away so I really can’t give a review.

That's what I call this stuff. Pooch crack. That's because whenever I pull the can out of the fridge my dog goes nuts. Jumping up and down and looking a bit crazed and desperate. It smells quite good, actually. 98% liver. YUM.
