We have low water pressure in our shower - water doesn't even reach the middle of the tub. Will this product amplify output water pressure? Thanks

For anyone living with low water pressure, I highly recommend removing the flow restrictor.  Once you remove the flow restrictor (which is not very difficult and takes about a minute), then you should notice much better pressure and flow rates.  This won't magically cure your pressure issues and cause water to come gushing out, but it will improve the sprays and offer more flow than other shower heads.

The shower head has a flow restrictor to comply with the national Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct 92), which sets a maximum flow rate of 2.5 gpm with a water pressure of 80 psi for showerheads manufactured, sold, and/or installed in the U.S.Most U.S. citizens do not enjoy a water pressure of 80 psi.  The average water pressure is less than 60 psi.  At 60 psi, the flow rate is around 2.0 gpm with the flow restrictor.  But the flow restrictor in this shower head can be removed to increase the water flow rate by 20-25%.  So, you can enjoy a 2.5 gpm shower at only 60 psi by removing the flow restrictor.

Could this shower head be combined with Delta diverter T11894 14 series to accommodate hand held shower as well?

Yes - the Delta T11894 series 3-way diverter allows you to switch between one shower head, the other shower head, or both shower heads.
